Breitling Avenger Seawolf, I love that watch. I've owned mine since 2013, white dial, have plenty of memories attached to it. That watch saw my 2 kids being born. Took 44h of labour with the first born in 2013 and 8 hours with the second one three years later. The Breitling started my collection and my interest in watches. Before that, I was a one watch guy since 2005, wore my Omega PO 2500C 45.5 daily for 7 years straight. I also had a Seiko Kinetic but quit wearing it when the PO came in. So the Seawolf was my second serious watch. It's built like a tank. It's huge and thick, but then it's an extreme diver with 3,000 WR, so to me it can get away with it. I love the presence on the wrist. Very clean creamy dial with batons. Super cool piece to me. It's like a little submarine on the wrist. I don't regret selling what I sold, I had a good reason to let them go. I sometimes miss one of them, an Omega Speedmaster Racing Master Chrono 44, white dial. That was a beautiful watch, super accurate like +1s a week, but I couldn't stand the absence of a date quickset, it was a PITA setting the date as I rotate my watches. Also, legibility at a glance wasn't great. A friend asked me the time once and I gave her a completely wrong reading, never happened to me before with any other watch. So I quit wearing it for those reasons. I have thought of buying one back, maybe in black, but that won't fix the problems, so that's a no. Another piece I let go with a bit of seller's remorse was the Breitling Superocean Heritage 46, blue dial. That thing was huge on my 18cm/7in wrist, right at the limit, no lugs overhang though. Took me 4 years to realise it looked ridiculously large. I sold it but thought of buying it back in 42mm. Problem is I got tired of the looks too, so decided against it. We do what we have to do, we let some pieces go for a reason. They go to happy new owners, no hard feelings.

I was looking 👁️ to the watch you are wearing, thinking 🤔 that I am expert, I concluded that it is a no date Sub. I was shocked 😳 once you revealed it’s an SD 4K. I think 🤔 the minute hand covered the date window. It looks amazing 🤩, yet I am not yet convinced to buy it as I like and own the anniversary SD43 and have no problem neither with its big size nor the cyclope ! I would love to add a vintage two lines lollypop dial no Date Sub later.

I have a datejust 1601 and I am so tempted to sell it to upgrade to a steel sports. But you are really making me second guess my decision to sell ANY rolex, even one that was supposed to be tradeable.

I think the Daytonas ( specially the Black on Blacks ) are really intriguing and I would regret selling it not only from the investment point of view. Might pull the trigger on one in the next weeks.

The black one is 10 X better than the Panda. Very interesting dial. Panda looks bland.

The Black Daytona is an absolute stunner.. I think over time, the black will end up being more collectible. It seems like the Panda's popularity was more driven by hype.. time will tell though.

Great Video..... I've rebought most of my selling regrets.....I follow the rule of....if I've sold it 2wice....I won't rebuy a 3rd time......I also subscribe to the philosophy of never selling ur first Rolex....my first Rolex was a pre-owned polar Explorer 2.... heavily polished, no box, no papers..... it's staying in the collection.

Great video Michael. The important thing is you kept the two best models Rolex have ever made IMO…the 16600 and 116600.

loved the honesty shown when described why you sold each piece.. I think the same of Daytonas.. I would buy one if given the chance from an AD at retail. But chronographs never have done much for me, and I think at 40 mm, the Daytona is too small and just not the prettiest watch but I know the latter is subjective.

Because of your videos recently I bought a SD4K and while I was searching for this watch I found a 'New Kermit" at a great price so I bought it too. I hope I never sale them. You regret selling two vintage. That is interesting because you have mentioned you don't like the small round index. You like more the new bigger dots. Lol! My biggest regret was selling a newer GMT two tone rootbeer and a DJ 41 Wimbledon on fluted and jubilee. They both beautiful watches. Love the story, thank you for sharing.

I had put a watch 4 times online for sale and took if offline again after I got a offer from a buyer because I was afraid missing the it. I couldn't let go. :-) I can totally relate to the " it's not the same watch" thought inside your head regarding rebuying the Hulk. watching your last Video talking about buying pre owned watches and being against it in the beginning I was thinking ... Mate, doesn't it bother you that this watch brings memories with it from the last owner ? :-) Watch people surely believe that watches have souls. lol

I’ve had so many and regret selling a fair few, my first Rolex that I bought back in 2005 probably the one I regret selling the most, it was a brand new bluesy, pre ceramic RRP £3690 back then 😳 not the coolest watch but it was my first Rolex and for that reason the one I regret the most, probably followed by a Hulk in 2017 , made a bit more than Michael on it but still regret it.
