Looks really good! I'm gonna have to try this. I like the results and love the fact it doesn't give that crunchiness. Yep, the shrinkage is mad real lol
Can u give us a quick glimpse of what it looks like after the pineapple twist so I can see how it affects the curls? Also is it a particular way it needs to be done? Gorgeous by the way as usual !
I did a wash n go yesterday after spraying my hair with a bit of water, applying my leave in conditioner, detangled and then applied a curling butter. Afterwards I applied my grease in the praying hands method. I definitely had some great definition...but also alot of frizz and just poofyness. I guess im trying to ask, does the curling jelly still act as a sealant (like the grease) just with added definition? Or is it best to still apply your grease and then curling jelly on top? Loving your channel! 😄
Thank you for stopping by and showing some love. Firstly, I only tend to use the hair grease if I'm not going to be doing a wash and go. I use the grease more for protective styles such as cornrows or a sleek bun. However, when doing a wash n go, I need some type of hold preferably a gel. For me, I found that the curling jelly worked both as a styler and a sealer. Personally, I wouldn't add the grease when using the jelly, as it causes the hair to weigh down meaning you'll have limp, heavy curls. Just for peace of mind, you could add a light oil such as Olive or Argan oil over the jelly paying attention to the ends. Hope this helped. x
