A video filled with cinematic shots from my recent trip to Mysore. I've never made a video like this one before. I didn't want the video to be just a bunch of cool looking shots with no story in it. So I narrated my experience. Hope you enjoy! Let me know what you thought in the comments section down below!

there is really something on this video that keeps me coming back, the story telling, the videography, it conveys a certain feeling, i wouldn't get tired of watching this. whenever i want to feel inspired i just search up this specific video and watch it like my first time, hope you can make more videos like this. love from the Philippines.

A mix of both! I’d say maybe a 50-50 split between handheld an gimbal. 😄

I’d say an iPhone is a great starter camera. You should be able to get a decent amount of zoom in 4K, no complex hassles of gear. The Stabilization is also really good. If you wanna know more, I’ve got a nice short video covering the iPhone XR.

Thank you, it depends, the stabilization on its own is good but if you’re going to be doing a lot of moving or running, I’d recommend picking up a gimbal.

Everything you saw was shot on the iPhone XR, mostly gimbal and handheld, didn’t use the gorillapod much at all.

I’ve got a video I’m working on that’ll showcase that since I’m shooting with it but, it’s performance is great! Dynamic range always holds up because of SmartHDR, the colors are nice too, there’s a normal amount of grain, nothing crazy. Overall pretty good.

Thank you! So far it has been for me, it’ll soon be 3 years old so I would recommend the upgrade to the 11 if you can afford it though. Still a solid phone though!

Yes, I'd say there's a 70-30 split between the amount shot by gimbal and the amount filmed handheld.

I'm an android user and have been using android for the past 7 years ,Im planning on switching over to iphone and I'm in such a dilemma over which to purchase between the xr and the se .So can you give me a suggestion? I mostly focus on camera and reliability and not much on gaming. (I know the xr is quite old but the iPhone 11 and above are way out of my budget xD)

I would go for the iPhone XR still. The minimal gain in processing power and camera performance are all worthwhile tradeoffs for longer battery life, FaceID and the bigger screen. Hope that helps :-)
