Ahhhh.... my very first N3 army. I moved on from them 3 years ago but I am going back to Nomads in 2021, and you'd better believe I am going back to playing them again.
Usually when I see reviews like this i am very skeptic about the content, and i am usually on a negative state of mind beforehand, but i must say i really liked this one. I agree with pretty much everything you said. Maybe the only thing that i disagree is what you said about the morlocks not achieving much with the WIP 14. I think they are great to discover camos, AND in case you fail the discover roll you can always do an intuitive attack with your chain rifle, and if the decide to dodge they have to do a face to face roll against your WIP 14 attack , and in case they manage to dodge you have already revealed them. Same way you can attack someone inside smoke so its actually pretty good on them. That would be my only comment.
Nice little conversation around some important Bakunin pieces. I love Kusanagi in a Reverend Haris. I'm a little sad that Kusanagi/Custodier/Healer Haris is no longer an option. A Reverend Core feels a little too expensive for me, definitely rather have moderator fillers and Riot Grrl/Taskmaster/Tsyklons.... Speaking of which, how did you not bring up the Tsyklons!? They're linkable now, and they're great in a Moderator Core with a Clockmaker!
It definitely would've been worth mentioning, but Jonathan is planning to do a general Nomad Remotes video as well, since the Tsyklon can join fireteams in every Nomad sectorial! We are planning a few Remote-centric videos, so stay tuned! - Nathan
Zero with the Deployable Repeater profile has Plasma Carbine which is worth fielding especially if you have Zoe or reverend custodiers to deploy repeaters for them while at the same time wreck the mid. Too bad theyre a glass cannon
I asked Jonathan about it, and he decided that it was not important enough for average list building to mention. These videos aren't supposed to talk about everything, necessarily, just bring attention to key units in the force! As PanO player, I definitely think TAGs should be mentioned, though! ;) - Nathan
