Great!!! Rule of nine on an eight valve engine.... Number one down, adjust number eight- number two down, adjust number seven ect.. must be adjusted this way as the cam profile changes all of the way around. You cannot measure the gap if the cam is not in the right position, as the gap varies depending where the cam is. Very useful vlog to ensure you have a gap, but to adjust, they must be in the correct position. Well done mate.
Very informative as always. Thanks. I have the Beta 43. Hopefully you will change the thermostat one day so I can see how. My califier does not give hot water even after several hours. Not airlock as bled the water a few times. So it must be a faulty thermostat on top of the engine that is not allowing water to circulate
I would imagine if your thermostat wasn't working your engine would over heat. Check the pipes going to your tank are getting hot. The thermostat on my engine is the green round object on the left side of my engine next to the alternator. Should be easy to replace. Give it a go. I changed my water pump last year and that was quite easy. Good luck
Good vlog will. Ive got a beta 38 aswell so be good when you do your service..i was meant to do the RCR engine and electrical course in stafford but with covid going on they carnt do any yet..take care mate 👍
