Former NASCAR driver Jack Sprague was an active driver in NASCAR from 1989-2008. Spending the majority of the time in the Craftsman Truck Series. In fact, the reason he falls under the category NASCAR CHAMPION is because he won 3 Craftsman Truck Series championships in 1997, 1999 and 2001. All while driving for Hendrick Motorsports. Sprague also ran the Xfinity Series part time in the early 1990s, then a full time season for Hendrick in there #24 NetZero Chevrolet in 2002. He was Haas CNC Racings first driver, back in 2003 in the Cup Series. The same team that Tony Stewart would later buy into forming Stewart Haas Racing. In 297 Craftsman Truck Series starts he scored 32 poles, 28 victories, 136 top 5s and 192 top 10s, winning the points championship 3 times in '97, '99 and '01. In 108 Xfinity Series starts he scored 1 pole, 1 win, 12 top 5s and 24 top 10s, with a best points finish of 5th in 2002. In 24 Cup Series starts he scored 0 poles, 0 wins, 0 top 5s and 0 top 10s, with a best points finish of 40th in 2003.
