This is pure speculation. Of course a person who lives in an area is going to drive through that area. This level of "journalism" belongs in the National Enquirer.
Mild depression or anxiety are emotional disorders, but many people with those diagnoses are perfectly safe to buy and own a weapon. Most people aren't ever going to shoot up a school. It's just not as simple as a lot of people seem to think
Did you even research the subject at hand? A keltec sub2000 shares nothing in common with the AR platform. But you know, the media isnt saying how she obtained these guns illegally, because it doesnt fit the narritive. It is a federal felony to lie on a form 4473.

We really need to bring back state mental institutions, but high quality and very compassionate yet wise and firm with honorable values. To truly help people reintegrate whenever possible. Some people can't handle existing in society and need a structured environment with mental health professionals on hand who aren't delusional but who truly care and are wise to guide them.
Unfortunately insane asylums were ridden with abuse, low paid, over worked employee's with little or no education on mental illness. Many atrocities happened at these so called hospitals. Now they just stock pile elderly and disabled people in public housing towers and chemically lobotomize them with antipsychotics.🤔 The poor do not get the help they need and the wealthy do not wind up in these places.
When a mentally-ill German pilot flew an airliner into the Alps in 2015, someone said that we should open the institutions again, but the comment from the media was "we don't want to go back to those dark days". Oh no? He took 149 normal people with him.

Are we sending our kids to school to learn or to prepare for combat? It's heartbreaking to hear about school shootings, and the proposed safety measures seem to focus on reacting to school shooters, instead of addressing the root cause of guns falling into the wrong hands. When will we put an end to these tragedies? Maybe it will take a school shooting at a place where influential people have their children to make a change.
Comparing the presence of security in schools to children being prepped for combat, is like saying the kids are being prepped for culinary school because there are cooks in the cafeteria. It doesn't make sense, though I'm assuming you were simply trying to express your frustrations, which is understandable. I am just as upset as anyone else. However, in addressing the "root cause" as you put it, we have to look at the situation in its entirety (without adding the extra stuff--such as illogical extremes). Honestly asking, have you taken the time to think of changes you'd make that would've prevent this incident? Do we even know enough at this time to make an educated assessment? (ex: how/when were the weapons bought; was there failure in the process of obtaining them that should've caught something; Is there something that could be added to the process that would've caught this?). Or is it that you would prefer no one have guns at all? If so, what would the consequences of removing them? The situation is complex. There is so much to consider. Regardless of where you stand on the issue (or really any issue), we as a nation (US), and a people, *have to stick together* . There are actors out there actively trying to divide us. You can see it on all subjects and from a range of sources (including our media and political parties). We need to better our senses in terms of us being manipulated before, during, and after we take action. The officers had a duty, just as we have a duty, and they kept their composure. They acted with urgency, but were also methodical, and calculated. It should be no different for us. While we all know they wanted to stop the threat and save as many lives as possible, they still had an obligation to clear rooms and make sure they were protected too* . We should act similarly. We need to be urgent, try to save lives, while also weighing the risks and keeping our composure. There are millions of gun owners in our country. The percentage of bad guys is less than 0.01%.
"I permit no woman to teach or have authority over men; she is to keep silent." Timothy 2:11 "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones." (Psalm 137:9) Can't cherry pick the Bible dude. Whole thing is garbage.
This started as a reply to someone earlier. I'm asking a question. I've raised questions. Questions that everyone including law enforcement should be asking. It's easy to just rage about the fact someone started shooting people. Any idiot can do that. It's mindless, and obvious. But it doesn't answer the main question. WHY? Why? The anger? Why? The rage? Why? Die and kill people? What was she trying to call attention to? What was she having trouble living with? Was this about revenge? If so, revenge against who? And why? What were the stories she was telling her therapist? Why was she considered unstable? What wasn't right in her world. Why did she desire to identify a male? And was it working? Or causing more problems? In trying to become male. Did she undergo surgeries? Did she then regret those surgeries and possibly not being able to ever breastfeed if she still was able to have children, and was that her anger issue? Was even having children now totally not possible anymore and was that what fueled her anger? To me she still looked like a young female child, from the pictures. Was that her problem, because she wasn't able to fully become manly as desired? As you hope you realize. I'm questioning everything equally while looking for the cause. It's these causes around the country that need to start being fix before others decide shooting people is their best choice in their crazy minds. Crazy minds that have been fueled by something. It's those somethings we Americans must learn about and try to change if possible. Something causes these events. It's imperative we stop protecting the possible people involved with these causes. No matter who they are. I'm not an idiot. I've lived an active life in many ways and know horrible people do horrible things to others that can't protect themselves. Or don't know how to protect themselves. Or don't have adequate coping mechanisms to deal with such traumas brought into their lives. Truth. And Honestly. Will be key in stopping such events. It's more then obvious that blaming guns of any kind is a joke at best in stopping this events from happening. Identifying core reasons and problems is what's needed. This is were the focus should be. She could have done more harm with many other things available everywhere. Maybe, Thank goodness she chose something as limited as a gun. Now that's a horrible reality. We need to find the core problems, situations and events that cause people with mental weaknesses, disabilities and problems from wanting to do such horrible acts as killing anyone. Focus on causes. ..
Honestly, I get your point about addressing things like this before it goes out of proportion and someone gets shot But a few things I’ve come to realize after reading comments, and watching news channels on this topic 1. Some people are tryna push agendas (take the guns away vs these guys are the bad guys, lock all of them in looney bins) 2. Some people are being either completely ignorant and not looking at the shooter’s motivations for any one of a myriad of reasons. (This person was evil and that is that, or I am in situation x or I identify as y and Z but I couldn’t ever do something like this) 3. Condolences. (Nuff said) And because group 2-3 are distracted saying “we do not condone their actions and here is a heaping pile of condolences as well.” (Not saying giving condolences is bad, but not every person in the US needs to show up and say “we are sorry this happened to you”(I didn’t even know this person, family or school existed prior to the shooting) Group 1 runs rampant and pushes against one another, creating more sparks for other violent outbursts, and potentially fatal incidents. Not saying that pushing an agenda is bad, but it could do with a lot of downshifting Also I find it worth noting that if this person wasn’t trans, shooting up a Christian school whilst also coming from a Christian household it would be a high odds bet that this incident would not have gained notoriety, and it would just be another case of “bullied kid gets their get back and then dies” So, yeah keep asking questions like the ones you listed, eventually someone up top will too, and then shootings like this might happen less and less.
People like you who call trans people "it" contribute to the stigma and mental illness that contributes to suicides among trans people. And that's basically what this was, only it happened to involve innocent bystanders for whatever reason. But yeah, go ahead and be part of the problem.
@@drodz4098 My take on it? I use "they/them", and even I don't care about honoring Hale's pronouns. Hale doesn't deserve the privilege. What the parents using the app didn't see was that he bought a large hunting knife and grabbed a girl on the street in broad daylight and tried to cut her throat. My college, La Salle, in the Philippines where I studied had and still have professional armed security guards guarding the school and protecting the student body. Being an ROTC officer myself back then, and when on OD duty, we were allowed to carry a pistol on campus. On top of that just a few feet in front of our ROTC office/barracks is an armory M-1S, Thompson’s, M-16,s, hundreds of it were at our disposal including an Ak-Ak gun (anti-aircraft gun) . Result- in the 80 years of the schools existence-ZERO crime on campus or mass shootings. Way to many mentally ill people here in America who need help but gets none, all the more after this tragic incident schools must consider the option of employing armed security guards.
Yes, correct, here in the Philippines we still have concrete fences with security guards per gate and 1-2 roving guards if the buildings are large. No one can enter without presenting an ID at the guard house in exchange for a visitors' pass before any visitor can enter. Even I, as a parent right now has to write my name in the logbook before entering the school premise with the time code of my arrival, name signature, and even my temperature still has to be checked, which is what I need so parents also has an idea who came in the school if we need to monitor as well on top of the CCTV.
It's crazy people want guns ban but soon as they get robbed or anything they will be looking clueless trying to defend their family. A bat will not work like movies. Shouldn't punish others for people like this just need to add more security to these places and schools need to stop being so cheap

She could have went to multiple different schools but she chose a Christian elementary school and if it was some sort of different case where she was attacking the head of the school for some reason why did she kill 3 children. Your argument is garbage and if a straight man had attacked a trans public center that he was formerly employed at and killed 3 trans children and 3 workers every single leftist would be screaming hate crime so just stop.
Parents shouldn't have to fear for their children while in school! This is an outrage! Only in some schools and not all, this doesn't make sense, and this will continue if those in High Authority don't make drastic changes to keep our children and teachers safe. This is my point, "Extra Security," to stand at all doors of schools across the US, not just one out of every few. If they don't pay to have security at a school, the children and teachers pay for their life. There are more guns in the US than people, as shown by statistics.

@KindaCool That's kinda the impression I got too, at the very least it seems there was an imbalance of investment in their friendship. Good on this girl for calling authorities. It's a complete shame she unwittingly got dragged into this and the horrific outcome.
She texted a friend just before doing this. It's not like they had time to investigate it. It was literally moments before. She did not know about the weapons. That was not in the text.
@Roringu Sanda where did you get this info because it's not supported by the timeline the friend reported from my understanding of what she said. There seems to be conflicting reports on this. I guess we'll know more later.
First of all the police and FBI know exactly what she was thinking… she left a detailed manifesto. And Two, this reporting is nothing but the beginning of the media establishing the new narrative that she did not target Christian children.
What was the motive? If she was "suicidal" why didn't she just take her own life instead of taking the lives of those innocent people?? If she was planning to die then why did she care if the other school had too much security? Doesn't make sense.

Exactly!!! People need to learn to love themselves for who they are and society should'nt be forced to cater to these sick illusions. That is a disorder to believe you can be or are the opposite sex. And through mutilation and chemicals? How is this natural.
The reason why we see so much hate in this world today is because we refuse to follow God’s Word. Humans have free will. We can either disobey God AKA sin, or we can obey God and live a righteous life. God doesn’t want us to be robots. He wants us to choose Him because we love Him. That’s why He gives us the choice. If we sin, we choose Satan. If we don’t sin, we choose God. Choosing to obey God is choosing Heaven. Choosing to sin is choosing Hell. In order to be saved from Hell, we must repent of our sins and turn to Christ Jesus. To repent of a sin is to tell God you are sorry for committing that sin, and from that point on, you don’t go to commit that sin again. No matter if we intentionally sin or unintentionally sin, it doesn’t change that fact that we have still sinned. Sin is still sin, and the wages of it is death AKA Hell. Because we are human, we do have the ability to mess up, so sometimes we unintentionally sin, and don’t realize we did so until after the fact. It’s okay as long as we repent and turn from that sin. Jesus doesn’t just forgive our sins, but He too forgets them. Other humans, Satan, and demons are who bring our past sin back up even after the fact of us saying sorry and not sinning again. That’s why it’s Holy Spirit filled people who are in prison for murder (who have since repented and turned to Christ) because people haven’t forgiven or forgotten their sin, even though the Lord has. God bless! John 3:16

How was she taken down when she was wearing a bullet proof vest? I know other areas of her body were not protected...may be multiple gun shots to her body and severe blood loss must have taken her down?
it wasnt a defensive body vest, it was a tactical vest for carrying ammo. only certain individuals can buy body armor and she did not qualify to purchase them (they must be law enforcement, etc.)
These are facts. She did want a soft target so she could do the most damage. Another thing that isn't being reported enough is she had suicidal tendencies in the past. Her family knew it. At least one friend/teammate knew it. That would have been the time to contact law enforcement. That would have been the time to say I think this person is a threat to herself and to others. Her parents are claiming they had no idea about her having multiple firearms in the house. They only knew about one firearm that she sold. If your child lives in your home and suffers from mental illness it is your responsibility to keep up with what they are doing. Situational awareness.
