NASTY 530 Horsepower Terminator Cobra Review! 

It's no surprise this review has the most views. The terminator still runs the streets 12-13 years later. There's a reason a good cobra still goes for over $20k. I'll have mine until I die. Fucking love that car.

Terminator flybys are the best. Seeing one coming up on you, at first all you hear is blower whine, then followed by that split second where it passes with both whine and exhaust coming together, then finally ending with a screaming tyrannosaurus rex.

Just correcting some facts that David P. pointed out. The independent rear suspension actually debuted in the 99 Cobra so it has been through a few life cycles. For the new edge the 04 Cobra has the best IRS. IF you have stock or mildly modded one they are very reliable. Styling wise which is subjective the 99-04 Saleen S351 will rival the 03/04 Cobra in looks and aggressiveness but will not make the 03/04 Cobra less aggressive. Lastly, they changed almost every panel on the car except the doors and decklid. The folding mirrors are different, the side skirts, hood, rear spoiler and rear bumper are all different.

A good video is always good. Watched this the first week it released and I come back for the wailing supercharger every few months and even in 2022 I still can't get enough. Awesome Job David keep up the awesome work. 😁

This is still my favorite video you’ve ever done...love going back to this one...driving my gt around town today and you’ll never guess what I saw in my rear view mirror..a black terminator cobra...it was beautiful and in amazing shape. If all goes well I will have one in my garage next year.

One of the best Mustangs ever built, in my opinion. Incredible looks, great engine, great modding potential, IRS. It's just a shame that they're still incredibly expensive, as I'd love to buy one, I just can't justify $20,000-$25,000 for a 10+ year old mustang.

I had the opportunity to own a '98 Cobra, which after some work, was no slouch by any means. This car however is what my Cobra dreamed to be. With all that said, your production quality was excellent AND you have a great personality. Plus, you drove the SHIT OUTTA THAT SNAKE! WHOOHOO! Wish I could've been there hoss! Dude, this car gives you more smiles than even that 700 HP GT500 did. And I love it when you throttle it up underneath the overpasses. It makes everyone smile!

Never liked Termis or heard about it until a good friend brought one to the shop and i hand-built the 4.6 for a rebuild with better pistons and a valve job and many many more improvements. When it first started it ran without a problem (and still running to this day). A couple days later he handed me the keys and let me drive it. He told me you mostly put in the work it so drive it. It put the biggest smile on my face when the FIRST engine we built put power down like a monster. I take pride in that motor we built because it's a goddamn monster. I grew to like this car.

My uncle bought one of these brand new in ‘03. He let me drive it. I’m still in love with that car. Only problem he ever had with it was transmission. Replaced under warranty. I still remember the signatures on the valve cover.

back for the 100th time, its 2020, when this was uploaded I wasn't even 16. This video lead me to buying my own 03 Cobra. Thank you David from the bottom of my heart

Older video, but they changed more than the bumper and the "wing". They changed the hood, rocker panels, front fascia, rear fascia and spoiler. The rear view mirrors are also different and painted, and as part of the spoiler changes, the 3rd brake light is LED and relocated to be in the spoiler. As part of all of that, the Cobra is actually a little bit longer than other New Edge mustangs, the hood is longer due to a mistake in manufacturing. Also, the exhaust is different which is cosmetic because it is distinctly different looking from the back, the pipes are horizontal under the tank.

Bought mine in 2020, and it is an amazing machine! The long gears and Whipple just put a huge smile on anyone who is in it. TDB is spot on when he stomps the gas, you get a look of concern, then you're laughing at what just happened.

I wanted a Cobra when i was looking for my 5.0 and I still kind of wish I would of went with the Cobra. The ultimate decision was that I already had an 04 GT and the cobra was my crush. I will one day own a Cobra but the want for one is just making work harder and at some point I will give in and let the snake bite.

I have an original 97 Cobra...I bought it on purpose recently. I've wanted one for a long time. Although my favorite will always be the 03-4' Terminator Mustang. As mentioned the potential of the Terminator is amazing. When I grow up I hope own by the time I'm 70..I'm 63 now and may never grow up. Nice Terminator in the video!

This car is f****** amazing! The sound it makes....I can't describe it - it gives me goosebumps! One minor gripe I have about these cars, I don't like the letters on the back bumper, it looks a bit tacky....that's just my opinion though, still a RADICALLY AWESOME car!

I remember being super into imports and wanted a r33 gtst (the one i could afford) and saw that you had to dump $14k in order to get 530whp reliably. Huge mod list. Then i got into mustangs and now this is my dream car. My jaw dropped to the floor when i found out you can make around 500-530 wheel just by porting the blower, smaller pulley, and bolt ons.

My 02 gt is coyote swapped and has a vmp supercharger thinking it would relieve the itch of not having an 03 cobra but I still want one so bad. I memorized this entire video I've watched it so much.

My grandma had a screaming yellow 04 cobra, ever since i saw it and drove in it I've been in love with them. One day ill have one myself

I got one of the first 2003 cobras in Sonic Blue back in July of 2002. 22 years old and just "had to have it." It still stands as one of my favorite cars I have owned. It's power, looks and build quality completely hold up today and has aged well. One thing with the review though is that they also changed the hood completely from the 99-01 Cobra. The rear bumper was also different. The interior got some enhancements as well. I thought I could never "move up" from the cobra as a car guy but I eventually bought a 2000 Viper GTS ACR in 09 when the prices were bottomed. Amazing vehicle but some of the problems and maintenance motivated me to upgrade to a black on black 2015 Viper GT with the black Sidewinder wheels and 18 speaker Harmon Kardon sound system. Thankfully I have a wife who makes way more than me and loves cars too. Bottom line; amazing cars and AMAZING videos @ThatDudeinBlue. Kepe making these. I rarely post or like or subscribe but you have another one with me; especially with the review of the 2001 Viper and the 2014 TA "Driver Mod" car.
