No they don't, not nuclear bombers lool. Most of the time they are jets used for training but they aren't anything related to nuclear, most times they are cargo aircraft. Happens in Scotland, well it did at one point nearly daily but they aren't nuclear, don't be fooled. Its for logistical reasons and to see how quick we react, maybe if they ever did fly nuclear planes over but jets wouldn't be used, it would be bigger aircraft like cargo planes as jets wouldn't have the capability to drop a high enough grade bomb, yes smaller nukes that attach on to ballistic missiles but not enough to wipe our country out. They k ow Scotland is heavily tied with British and American forces so they test us and to see our reaction times which are the quickest and most efficient in the world. Don't let anyone tell you nuclear jets fly into our airspace because that's never happened as of yet

Their subs have been doing the same thing, off and on, since the original Cold War began. They actually are responsible for a great deal of ASW capability development on the part of the Northern European countries. They have actually fired on them numerous times and seem to share my opinion that the only good Russian sub is a sunken one.

And in 2014 we had the incident with the suspected Russian submarine in the Stockholm archipelago almost in the city center. Our military was searching for the suspected submarine by Lidingö which is literally minutes away from the city center, ironically I was at Lidingö at the time attending a camp at the sports center there, but never noticed any of the military activity going on. Planes yes, spares maybe, airmen and factory workers under sixty who know what is needed to get the older reserve aircraft airworthy, more of a problem. Pilots to fly them, a limited pool. Pilots to train recruits in the two place cockpit versions of older combat aircraft, that would be around half the pilots who still know how to fly them. Expect accidents at landing during training on the older equipment. Overall...most of a year or more to see the number of reserve aircraft make a significant impact on growth of combat ready aircraft available.
