I have been battling sinus infection for a year now. I just found something that gives me great relief. In a mini chopper, I chop onion, garlic, and ginger. I mix it with a little cayenne and some raw unfiltered honey, cover it, and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator. I eat a tbs of it for relief. If I am still feeling pressure, I’ll eat another. Best I’ve felt in a year.
I read your comment and tried this... I had completely lost this video and just searched high and low to find it. I wanted to say THANK YOU. This was amazing. I was so nervous because it sounded disgusting lol but it is instant relief. Thank you for sharing!
Dilute thyme essential oil with grapeseed, olive or fractionation coconut oil if you're going to put it on your skin. Always test for skin sensitivities before using a new oil.
I know this video is old, but it was super informative. I’ve never had allergy issues until I moved to Texas and got a little bit older. I feel like I keep taking Claritin and it’s not really working. I’m definitely going to try these natural remedies. Thanks for the video!
I am in the same boat, I’m so wondering if I was too leave TX for a couple of months if all my sinus issues would go away. Please let me know if you find something that helps , thanks
@@kauaireed9006 I visited my in laws in Southern California and they did go away 😭 so I’m starting to think that I got used to Claritin or it’s really not all that great. I found the nondrowsy Kirkland Costco brand works really well for me.
Started taking every morning Quercitin/bromelain, methyl folate, diamine oxidase pills. Haven’t needed to take an antihistamine yet. Very surprised with the efficacy .
The only thing that helped me with hay fever was local raw honey. It has to be local though because the bees consume pollen in your area so if some of it goes into your system it reduces your reaction to it.
Thank you for sharing these wonderful tips. When I stopped eating dairy and gluten my allergies greatly improved and I lost 60 pounds which was an added bonus. Keep sharing these tips and together we will get 1 million people off their Meds!!
Dude...I didn't think anyone would openly admit that dairy helps fight allergies, or caffeine. Especially caffeine. People barely touch on these when talking about allergic reactions. I've been keeping from these like crazy as of the past few months and I feel much better. Still congested, but a lot less runny nose, which is great.
Thanks a million,Jehovah richly bless you, fam. He spoke about chocolate, coffee to help you, chocolate has endless sugar, milk,he said molds, bad for sinuses, allergies ,and too much caffeine is bad.BE GRATEFUL.
As a person I'm always suspicious of channels like yours mainly due to the fact that there already are many frauds out there posing as doctors or connoiseurs, but you seem legit man, thanks for the info hope many people see your videos!
I have been going through chronic hives for years now and I am fed up with tablets which is not even helping me. My skin is really gone bad and dark after scratching at all times
Dr Axe, i noticed that garlic works great when one has allergy symptoms. What do you recommend to prevent the allergy symptoms, short term and long term?
I agree. About staying inside but after 8 minutes nuts in going outside! Bloody nose and all! And I'm suffering but my bike rides in the rolling hills are priceless! Will eat all the foods you mention as much as possible though!
I love this! No wonder i am dying during allergy season . I drink milk, i lace my chicken with sharp chedar cheese omg, eat banana, drink two large mcdonalds coffee with 3 creamer and 3 sugar, order mcchicken too and sausage mcmuffin with cheese. Not anymore! Thanks very much for all these life saving info :)
You were missing out on some alcohol and chocolate. But if not anymore, then how are you going to survive without it all? Without all of that Mcshnagen food? 🤔
My allergies are so bad, non of these work. I've tried all of these. I have to take Benadryl daily. I've tried spirulina for the itch but it doesn't work. But I still take it every day. I'm miserable all year round. Ugh 😩
@@YourDaD____ I watch him all the time. Thank you and I take them daily. It doesn't fix itchy anaphylaxis or regular allergies. Dr Berg mentioned many other fixes as they may help a little, i still suffer, but thank you.
I have allergies throughout the year.. Im also allergic to cats and since i have one at home. Im always sneezing and having head ache and even my throat swells i have difficulty in breathing at night.im so fedup of this
WARNING - BONE BROTH - I got incredibly sick drinking bone broth. A hair tissue analysis indicated I was contaminated with 'off the chart' tin. I got enormously better once I stopped the bone broth and fully recovered after 6 months of a metal chelation program to eliminate the metal from the body.
ruth Hanckel oh my god why did i have to see this comment? I Was just so excited about this giant batch of Bone Broth i made for myself and now i'm going to overthink it and react badly lol
Can someone help me with this question? Every Dr. Axe video or article gives us all different kinds of supplements to take for different issues. Should we be choosing one of them recommended in this video, or all of them?
Hello, I have severe dust mites allergy (all 3 types) for the past 2 years… I have tried lots of types of traditional medicine and natural medicine sadly nothing worked. I was supposed to start a 3 years immunotherapy but sadly we don’t have anymore access to these types of medicine in Lebanon atm… Any idea for this specific type of allergy? N.b: 1-I dont drink alcohol, dairy… 2-I also sufferer from from several Auto immune diseases (rheumatological and neurological) still haven’t been diagnosed with anything specific after doing all the tests known but my ANA is always high…and already had 11 surgeries, most of them in my joints 3-tried all the things you mentioned already except for butterbur 4-I am hypersensitive to any type of chemical smells and sadly essential oils… Thank you in advance
Great tips!! thank you, gave a thumbs-up! I was looking for information on what harms long-term and short-term that OTC and other prescription allergy drugs may cause or contribute to. Seems like there's a pill for everything and only ten or twenty years later we find out we shouldn't have done that... Advil is just one example
I read that vitamin C is an antihistamine and I have been using a time release vitamin C for years with great results. I was surprised you didn't include that vitamin is there a reason?
It is kind of hard to avoid pollen in Central Texas. We didn't really have a winter in Texas this year. Since the Fall season, my allergies have been bothering me. I feel like is allergy season all year round in Texas.
Try going outside when it's windy. I'm not sure why this works for me but it can be that the wind has already taken away the pollen so now it's just fresh air blowing in that direction..
Hi doc Axe, i had redness and etching around my eyes, my lips, and my neck, i went to the clinic the doctor gave me ointment and medicine but its not heal.
Doctor is there any food left for me to eat ???? Lmao 🤣 everything is bad for me according to you, I think I’m going to start eating grass that’s the only food left for me according to this video 👍😏😑😄
I just started watching the video and he may cover it. I am experiencing brain fog directly related to pollen. My hours are crazy at work and wouldnt be able make dr. Appointment. Any advice? Thank you in advance
You may want to try purchasing some local bee pollen (you can find it at a farmer's market) and take about a tsp. a day. It can help with some allergy symptoms. Learn more here: draxe.com/bee-pollen/?
Uhhh all the fruits he named are high in histamines. Isn’t that like defeating the purpose if you eat high histamine fruits for helping with allergies??
