The Last of Us and Uncharted developer Naughty Dog's next game "could redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming" according to studio head Neil Druckmann. #IGN #Gaming #NaughtyDog
@kevinpereira2546 appealing to a broader audience means less focus. Trying to please everyone never works. You have to know your audience to produce a successful product. Imagine if the last of us tried to appeal to kids as well, suddenly you have to take out a bunch of the things that give the game its personality
So generic and meaningless too. Just throwing in some buzzwords like "redefine" "mainstream" "perceptions", which put together ultimately means nothing.
Well we are talking about Neil Druckmann.....the man who single handedly destroyed naughty dog studios, got Amy Hennig sacked, destroyed one of the best main characters in gaming history and best New franchise, and somehow still verbally proclaims himself as being on the same tier level as Kojima
Oh boy can't wait to slowly walk forward following a character spouting exposition for 30 plus minutes straight followed by cutscenes with QTEs to keep you engaged.
If its jak 4 then yea that would be a huge change of pace. A platformer in 2024 would be wild. Or a reignited trilogy of the jak games would be cool too.
I’m wondering (since he mentioned the show a couple of times) if there will be an event in TLOU Season 2 that’s unique to the show, and that will be referenced in the next game with big repercussions in that game?
even the people behind the most iconic games of all time never had this kind of statement it's your work that speaks to everyone not your words he's clearly insecure about his work to say such thing
He’s just getting ahead of himself and not allowed to talk specifics related to it. Which is difficult to not be able to share what you been working on for years.
Naughty Dog next game will redefine what it truly means to be human, tearing down barriers of race, religion and nationality. Finally uniting the earth towards ten thousand years of peace and understanding
That's too nice to call muster Druckmann as, he's more like the drunk post-9/11 version of Frank Miller while he was writing Batman and Robin All Star and Holy Terror except Neil's insanity somehow occurs when he's sober.
If they do like they did on ps3, on ps5 and supass hellblade 2 quality, them it will be mind blowing. Hellblade 2 enjoys the best of new gen with fast ssd loads and alteration of structures in real time on enviroment as well as passage of scenes in real time with no loading. It is outstansing mind blowing game 🎉🎉🎉
OK, so... Look. Naughty Dog been making bangers for decades, but recently they ain't been doing so well. Save it with this kind of talk, when they can't even follow through with projects.
Thanks IGN for uploading this entertaining and informative content. I’m excited for what Naughty Dog has in store for us. I’m enjoying these daily and weekly fixes especially.
The last of us is the most overated game, we have only had two games it it. That's just my perspective though, overated doesn't mean the game is bad by the way
They made it clear in a statement years ago that they have no intention to make games like that ever again. They should lose the license and sell it to a third party developer.
They didn’t build or renovate any garages to anyone dude. And no they’re not going to, they’ve evolved and each new game had been outselling the last. So their continuing that momentum going forward. They hinted at a fantasy/medieval type of game after TLoU3 also
