totally agree! Magic not only brought out the best in his teammates, he made the game fun, the whole team was happy. I don't think Worthy makes HOF without Magic, and Coop and Byron Scott became household names.

@@jameschan1791 Worthy would be a HOFer without Magic. He was always one of the best players on the court going back to his UNC days. Don't get me wrong me wrong having Magic is a nice.. very very nice plus to have on your side. Coop's strong suit was his great defense, Magic didn't help much there. Byron, I can see Magic helping out most, but I wouldn't want to take too much off what Byron did either. He was a great all around player.

Bird took the Celtics from last place to first place in one season. Bird beat Jordan in the playoffs twice, league MVP 3 years in a row, went to the playoffs every year he played, twelve-time NBA All-Star, three-time Three-point Shootout champion, Nine-time All-NBA First Team, and played with an injured back for 7 years of a shortened 13 year career. Imagine how much he could have accomplished if he didn't screw up his back. Jordan had to wait till a broken Bird was in his last 2 injury riddled seasons to win his first championship ring. Bird won his first ring his second season.

Jordan wasnt as good as magic at sharing the ball,but dont forget he averaged 11.4 assists per game during 1991 finals against magic. Plus,he was a best scorer and a much better defensive player than magic. And honestly,you expected a bulls team with jordan in his first years, corzine and oakley to beat a celtics team with prime bird,mchale,parish,johnson and ainge? jordan averaged 43ppg in 86 and 36ppg in 87 against the celtics and they got swept twice

Im not saying mj was as good as magic at passing,that would be ludricous,but Mj wasnt bad at it. When he played as a PG in 89 he averaged around 32ppg and 10apg. But if you wanna look at career stats as a whole,jordan wins by a huge margin in terms of offensive and defensive efficiency,mainly in the playoffs and finals.
