i was injured BY a chiropractor who did two thrust manipulations of my C7/T1 (one in both direction) which left me with pain in that area (pain was not there before) and nerve tingling/pain down my arms into the 4th and 5th fingers
The only issue I have with muscle test and retests is the increased facilitation on the second attempt. To confirm I would retest a third time again with the patient back in a neutral cervical position. What you will often find is similar findings of your 2nd test.
Why would the imaging be incorporated so much later in the process? I've got a C7 pinch right now based on these same symptoms and I pressed the VA to get me an MRI so my treatment plan is specific to my exact issue, not a speculation of causes.
@@kalruggs1719 hi Kai, just finish my C6-C7 surgery three days ago. I can see Chest muscles improved. Definitely when the time goes by I will be able to evaluate properly since recovery period is long ( 3 months ) but am happy that as first indication shown improvement. Wish you all good health

Everything he feels I'm feeling expect my whole hand tingles not just my fingers. I need to get in with my dr cuz I do know I had a bad disc several yrs ago..I wonder if it's gotten worse.

My anatomy textbooks are telling me that wrist extensors are supplied by C6-C8. But you are testing wrist extenors for C5....could you tell me the source of that information, please!? I have never heard that so far.
