i see comments about people not jibing with todays guest and thats valid if thats not an episode for you hopefully you will enjoy the next week one, however if i see one more comment about how Dk's "L-DAR" ""joke"" was """funny""" im gonna fucking start banning people

DK saying "Legally distinct Eldari" amuses me because GW specifically copyrighted the word because you can't copyright "elf" or "eldar".

You know, I've been listening to this podcast for the last two months. I've grown to be a big fan of these guys and 40k in general thanks to them. But hearing the words "Necron mating press'' has me questioning recent decisions that I've made... and that's coming from someone who really likes Necrons.

I just feel like the L-dari line from DK was comedic gold

Nothing in this show so far has had the sheer infectious enthusiasm as zceenook saying, "He has a stat line, I can PUNCH HIM!"

Ya know, new guest really is one of the guests of all time. On the one hand, he seemed like a pretty nice guy, on the other he committed to a character on a show thats never really done that. Immense respect for it because I bet being on AdRic is a lil nerve wracking but it is a little jarring. Tldr, imma follow this guy on Twitter, hopefully they have him back as a guest and he finds his feet a lil bit more. Doesn't even need to drop the character just notch it down a few degrees :) Good episode, never missed one yet.

50:24 Highlight of the episode here. "I CAN PUNCH THEM!" is the most crazy old Necron line I've ever heard anyone deliver.

Shout out to Bricky saying "end the episode" and being cut off to talk about necron pirates. Bricky and DK are excellent hosts.

Zee sounded kind of nervous when he was speaking especially at the start but it made me really happy how encouraging you guys were and by the end it sounded like a great presentation!

It kind of feels as if zceenook has gone as insane as his favorite overlords, this was a fun episode

This rambling eccentric overlooked the best part of neckron history. I used to play the neckrons with the white dwarf rules at the beginning of 3rd edition . It was so much fun dumping a garbage bag of scarabs on the table that can move 18 inches and self-destruct with an AP2 hit. It was perfect.

Today on Adeptus ridiculous Trazin the infinite ♾️ captures Bricky and DK to share the Necron history with his favorite "heretical" Meat bags.

Very impressed they were able to get Trayzn to join them on the podcast

The necron guy wasn't my jam but I will say it gave me admiration for the usual flow of the podcast and how I take for granted how good bricky is at talking for an hour straight without any weird verbal hangups. I can imagine it's not easy

There's that one scene in The Infinite and The Divine where Trazyn curses Orikan with the knowledge that humans "reproduce and excrete through the same organs" and you know, that shock Orikan felt always left me very intrigued about Necrontyr biology.

This guy somehow talked about everything and nothing. Not sure how to feel about this episode but the guy was fun enough.

This episode was pure chaos and insanity and I loved every second of it

Its annoying to hear people think Blood Angels wouldn't work with Necrons. Blood Angels aren't the Black Templars. They are more open to aliens and warp stuff.

I loved this episode because it felt like you were talking to one of the curators of Trazyn's 'museum' giving a tour. 10/10 would love to have him back again.

40:35 in The Wheel of Time series, one of the "other" Main Characters is afraid that Rand, their leader, was going Loony Toonz crazy and how this could negatively weigh on future battles, till one of the older warriors talked about the greatest recent tactician of their age, as he had fought for him. A man who halted his army, and ordered a Forest cut down because the trees were all staring at him the wrong way, and then after the forest was felled, he felt bad for the trees and then ordered "every" tree gets a proper funeral AND burial with a head-stone.... Mind you, this was a fantasy world where the trees were actually just trees and not Ents in hibernation, and no one questioned a damn thing cause he had never lost a single battle, before or after this, and NO ONE in his army wanted to jinx his winning streak. "You tell him he's crazy...." "I don't wanna....."

If i had a nickel every time ad rid confused the astral knights for Ultramarines instead of Imperial first in a guest episode I'd have two nickel's which isn't a lot

I actually liked this episode. It felt like being at a game store and overhearing some guys talking about 40k.

i love that Zee had such a uncle telling stories vibe to him, pure chaos but so fun to listen to! please have him back he literally made my day.

This episode was chaos and really sells the insanity of the Necrons. love it.

I actually really liked this guest. Unlike Kirioth's almost concerning enthusiasm for large engines of destruction and war, Zceenook sounds more like a museum curator, with this whimsical glee in reciting his favorite stories and factoids. Really nice addition to the necron vids.

As much as I like learning about the necrons, this episode was... all over the place and hard to follow. Was nice listening to while painting though.

All things considered, your guest seemed to have a ton of passion for their faction and its always awesome to see that from people and their armies. Except Elf players.

I do love the idea that the necrons are fully capable of destroying the galaxy, but are holding themselves back due to infighting, procedure, and the desire to not break 'their' galaxy any further.

I don't know about y'all but I've been waiting for a necron specific episode since the twice dead King Reign books. Got to love my necron supremacy.

Being a Necron fan, that's the very first episode I clicked on Spotify, but couldn't get through the end because of this particular guest. Hopefully the Poorhammer Podcast recommanded AdRic very highly, so I gave it a second chance and started by the very first Krieg episode. Now 147 episodes deep, I'm very glad I did. Keep on experimenting, this was stupid of me to stop there in the first place.

i like this Episode. it is a nice look back to how crons ones were. also genuinely love hearing someone being passionate about something they really like. also helps that he kinda sounds like a necron so he hits the parts in my brain that have a huge skeleton bias. Nyeh

I'm just happy to finally get another necron episode. We need more space Egypt b*******.

You see when 2 necrons love each other very much, they each extend their shoulder tendril with a tiny little fist at the end, the male necron gives a thumbs up, and the lady necron extends a polite pinkie finger, then they fist bump. With the exchange of genetic material complete, each fist opens to drop their seed/egg, which after bathing in solar radiation for 8.4 seconds implodes into a tiny pocket dimension to gestate. Finally when the parents next stub their toe a new necron pops back into realspace and yells "DADDY!" before kicking their parent in the shin and running away to grandmas house for an education and cookies. Now you know... so stop asking!

Loved the new art too for this! Only left the book club reading art, cant wait to see it! Also, I've read people not being that happy with the guest, but I kinda enjoyed it, Dkay and the brick were having a good laugh and fun, so it was very entertaining seeing them having time to talk but disconnecting the brain a bit and have some fun chit chatting (if it was ever connected, awful eldar joke from dkay makes me think its not even there the brain) Also! I likes to hear the evolution of the skelly bois from edition to edition. Ps: necron sex is a yes confirmed by necron guest, today is a good day

Ironically, pretty much almost all of the stuff Matt Ward wrote that wasn’t Ultramarine centered, like the Necrons, was actually pretty good. Seriously, the whole reason Necrons are now robot space Egyptians and have characters like Trazyn, Imotekh, The Silent King, etc, exist are entirely because of Matt Ward.

Please do this with all the races, although good luck on keeping the Drukhari from being demonetized.

Ngl this is the first episode I couldn’t finish. I love the guest’s enthusiasm but man he’s hard to listen to. I almost for a second thought it was Arch with a voice filter on and had to do a double take. Nothing against the guy as a fellow necron enjoyer but it’s very hard to pay attention when the majority of what they’re saying reads like tangents on tangents that don’t go anywhere. Episode kinda just felt like someone trying to explain EVERYTHING about the necrons to their co workers during a 15 minute break.

My biggest issue with the episode (other than the L-dar bs) is that we have had 5+(?) Necron episodes so alot of the discussion turned into review of what were previously discussed. Legit the best parts of this ep are when zcee does mention something that had not yet been mentioned before (ie necron pirates). Hopefully this kind of issue can be solved moving forward. Still a great ep tho, the best parts had me cackling for sure. Necroitus confimation when?
