37yrs old and I’ve been drawing my whole life, my wife just bought me a tattoo machine for Xmas, and I’ve been watching your videos for straight two days even some almost three times back to back, I haven’t even open the box yet to go thru everything, I’ll give myself 6months before doing myself or anyone else for sure will practice my ass on the fake skin

I like how you added the still photo of the needle depth. just a suggestion, if u can put a marking next Time on a video to to give a visual indication of how much of the needle goes into the skin.. a lot of people of visual learners in that sense or maybe I'll just speak for myself but either way great video. I was always told to go about 2mm deep or the thickness of a nickel. Your needle depth looks to be much less, but awesome lines.

One thing I would like to more about in depth is over working the skin - I am very worried to take more than one pass on a line, or overwork too much when trying to saturate colors - I guess my question is how do you know when to stop or hold off?
