As a visiting alien from a distant star system but with a passion for great coffee I was delighted to see Nespresso had anticipated my needs by designing a language free manual. Sadly, despite being an accomplished inter stellar propulsion expert I was baffled by the manual and had to resort to marrying a beautiful and intelligent earth woman who was able instruct me on the intricacies of my new Inissia machine. I’m happy to say we are both now very happy and living in a modest semi just outside Huddersfield, so thanks to the Inissia manual I’ve given up space travel and found contentment on your small planet. Thank you earthmen.
Did you never wonder what the TWO glowing icons stood for when you first plugged in this piece of junk? Even a child would figure it out in a few seconds.
I'm entirely new to coffee... can someone explain to me how much I should ideally set my espresso to for lattes? lol... it seems to only do like half shots by default
@@nespresso Help! 3 coffee sizes on the capsules boxes (25/40/110ml) and two buttons to make them... First question: The reset mesure for those buttons are 40 / 110? How to program to 25ml If someone wants to use the 3 sizes on regular basis...
I did not know this, but I will try it. Sometimes I have found an expresso too strong and a Lungo too weak so I have been pressing the expresso button 2 times in a row for my preferred strength. That seems to be a big no-no with some.
What is the optimum volume for an espresso and for a lungo? I have a machine at home that works great but the one at work seems like the brew time is way too short. For example, the espresso brew time for the machine at work is only about 3 seconds. Likewise, if I restored back to factory default, what will the settings be at now?
Thanks for asking, Jordan. We're thrilled you're enjoying Nespresso at home and on the job. An espresso brews a 1.25 oz. cup and lungo, 3.7 oz. Restoring your machine will reset the cup sizes to factory settings. You may call, email or come in to LiveChat with us if you'd like further assistance.
If I remember right, to pour a ristretto on the Inissia you just count 15 seconds from the moment you hit the espresso button, correct? Or is it 15 seconds from when it starts pouring? Or am I delirious and the 15 second thing isn't a thing at all?
Hi Jacob. The flow time depends on the grind of the coffee beans, which varies for each Grand Cru. Therefore we recommend measuring the volume to determine when to stop brewing. A ristretto should be 0.85 ounces.
It's not hard to understand why Nespresso produced their manual in this way. It was to avoid having to translate into multiple languages. The problem is that it's useless: unless you already know what it all means (in which case you have no need of it) it's incomprehensible. Nespresso would do better simply to point people in the direction of these excellent video guides.
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ru-vid.comUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
Can someone help me, my nespresso machine has a very high pour rate speed. Sometime it makes the espresso kinda watery. Not enough crema because of the too fast extraction duration
Hi, we're disappointed to hear this. We would recommend calling our Technical Team on freephone 0800 442 442 (UK) / 1800 812 660 (ROI) so they can help you resolve this. Many thanks.
I did not get it, there are two sizes, I could program for my expresso size but I could not do it for the second button, ie the mug size I had to press three times to fill the mug Why did it not work?
1. With machine being turned off, press and hold down the Lungo button for 5 seconds 2. LEDS will blink fast 3 times to confirm machine has been reset to factory settings 3. LEDs will then continue to blink normally, as heating up, until ready Taken from official Inissia Krups manual (page 14), you can find it here: www-media.nespresso.com/ecom/websites/manuals/inissia/inissia_C_krups.pdf
The capsules come in 3 sizes, not 2. espresso, ristretto, and lungo. How do you brew a ristretto without programming / reprogramming the settings? You should be able to press 2 buttons for a medium size, or is a ristretto 2 presses of the espresso setting??
Hello. To brew a ristretto-sized cup without reprogramming, simply press and release either cup button, then press and release the same button again once the machine has dispensed approximately 0.85 ounces of coffee.
1. With machine turned off, press and hold down the Lungo button for 5-8 seconds 2. LEDS will blink fast 3 times to confirm machine has been reset to factory settings 3. LEDs will then continue to blink normally, as heating up, until ready
Buenas tardes, M Angels. Puedes ver todas las tazas y accesorios disponibles en nuestra web desde el siguiente enlace: bit.ly/3xo1xGS Gracias por escribirnos, un saludo.
It's easy to programme each button to deliver the exact amount you want. BUT what if, in your household you need 3 settings - e.g. Ristretto, Espresso and Lungo?? Do you have to leave your finger on a particular button and guess how much coffee's been delivered each time? Kinda flies in the face of "exactly the strength you want - Every time"

Does anyone know why the machine would flash both buttons three times -pause--then flash three times -repeat and not fo anything unless I unplug it and then try again?
Dear Shene, we are sorry to learn that. In order to assist you, we invite you to inform us in which country you are living. Thank you for your understanding!
Try removing the spent-capsule bin--might be too full. Replace the bin & then try the lever. It will eject any capsule in the chamber & you should be good to go.
Hi, I have already programmed the cup size but it doesn't work, I've also done factory reset and my nespresso keeps pouring the same amount of water for espresso and lungo. I'm from Indonesia. Kindly need your help for this.
Hi, Ms. Yuliana. Please try to follow the below steps. - Turn off the machine and unplug the cable from the electrical contact - Wait about 10 minutes then please reconnect the wire to the electrical contact - When the machine is off, please press the lungo button for 5 seconds (no more or less) - After 5 seconds, the espresso button will flash. Leave it until both buttons stop blinking - Place a cup under the coffee outlet then press the lungo button (without inserting any capsule) to check if the cup size is successfully programmed If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact our Customer Care line by phone 1500-498. Our Coffee Specialists are happy to assist. Thank you
Hi Carol, once the capsule has been used once, we recommend to not use it again as this will over extract the coffee and the end result will not be the same. Many thanks.

Our machines exclusively brew our Nespresso capsules. Quality is at the heart of everything we do, from coffee sourcing to craftsmanship and expertise in our production for a consistent in-cup result. We're always innovating with a wide range of selections, however unable to comment on competitor products.
Hey +Nespresso -- I lost the printed manual and didn't remember how to program it. Thx for the video. -- It actually *does* sound like a softporn, as others remarked :-P There should be links to these videos on the customer service of the website!
Espresso is a 1.35 oz. pour and Lungo is a 3.75 oz. pour. Our Lungo capsules contain 20% more coffee to account for the extra water used to brew the capsule. Nespresso machine owners like Lungo shots so they can enjoy a taller cup of coffee with a single capsule.
We can help, Riley. Please try an electrical reset first. Unplug your machine for 30 seconds. Then plug it in and try to turn on your machine. If this doesn't work for you, we're here on LiveChat, email or you can call the Nespresso Club at 800-562-1465 when you're near your machine. Thanks for your message.
HI, thanks for contacting us, could you please clarify the country you are contacting us from? This way we will be able to contact the appropriate department. Thanks in advance!

Hi Hussan, while you cannot make an iced coffee using the Inissia machine alone. Our Aeroccino machines provide the perfect hot or cold milk froth bit.ly/3aSpYi9 - many thanks.
The instructions that came with the machine are a disgrace to Magimix - the worst I've ever encountered in my life (death by graphics). My elderly father was given this machine for Christmas and when he died recently, we found he had never used it. I am sure this was because of the stupid instructions, as it is easy enough to use.
Thank you for your comments regarding the Inissia instructions. Please be assured we will pass your feedback on to the relevant department and the manufacturer for their consideration.
@@richardaldridge5474 It is sad that no one in the family made sure that he could use it before leaving him with it. I'm older too, but have made the effort to learn and understand my electronics. Sometimes need help from my son, particularly settling up smart TV's and things like Fetch boxes, but I can use and understand my iPhone and Mac etc. You-tube is great for info isn't it.
What a joke! Even their so called 'Longo' (another trendy expression?) only fills half my normal size coffee mug. Need at least TWO tiny 6 gram capsules to achieve a decent size brew. Move on folks, absolutely nothing to see here.
@@nespresso What exactly is a "perfect Lungo" ... your words. That phrase has no legal or scientific definition. Are you saying that a Nespresso Longo capsule contains significantly more ground coffee than a standard 6 gram Nespresso capsule? We look forward to your answer!
Hi, our Lungo varieties are specially designed for a higher amount of water running through without loosing its aroma. Of course the amount of coffee in the capsule stays the same
@@nespresso "Specially designed for a higher amount of water" you say .... mmmm ... could be marketing speak? It's only possible to extract so much aroma, flavour and body from just 6 grams of coffee. Assuming it is 100% Arabica you use, how can more water provide the same strength as a non-Lungo 6 gram serving? Might it be a finer or coarser grind you use for Lungo capsules?
This machine is shit! I put the capsule in the hole as in the video but later on I cannot close it. I pushed down and down the handle until I broke it. Thanks to god I bought through Amazon and I got my money back. Lost time with this. Now I got a normal one, f.ck the capsules
