Right! First time she looked at one I was like "that's the WORST Photoshop I've seen this year!" and I have friends that put heads on bodies for fun all the time. Badly. This was worse.
Actually, killing the parents is the only thing he did that made sense. Can't have them come visit or they go visit her parents and they be like, "Honey, who's your friend?"

I was wondering the whole movie how long it would have taken me to figure it out if they hadn't spoiled in in the advertising. Probably not very long and that is why they decided to spoil it. But it was kind of confusing that they where like "watch this movie about a guy pretending to be the husband but we are going to act like you will be surprised later"... Like what was the actual plan there? Probably as bad of a plan as "Russel" had.
I feel like this is the plot of every lifetime movie, someone loses their memory and someone is trying to kill them they survive at the end by killing the murderer 😂😂😂

I had thought that too but then how did he know she'd get amnesia so that he'd need to kill them in the first place? They've been dead for weeks so he killed them with a plan months ago to get them out of the way so they can't identify him when he somehow gives her amnesia sometime in the distant future...? And why hasn't she called her mama in weeks or noticed her mom hasn't called her? She should have known something was up a long time ago.
@@ArnisKaye Exactly!!! That's part of my plot hole issue. I take it he was responsible for her accident seeing as he was the first one to the hospital. But how long was she unconscious? When did he kill Russell and her parents? When did he find the time to alter all her images to insert himself in? What would he have done if she didn't develop amnesia? This movie poses more questions than it has the answers for lol.
The protagonists actions make more sense when you think from the perspective that it’s actually London Tipton playing the role. That’s why she got out the car in the beginning. She was still figuring out that prndl.
Yes. I‘ve mentioned Before I Go To Sleep to everyone I’ve talked to about this movie. It used to be on Netflix, but it’s not on there anymore. 🤔 LOL Also, since she mentioned the cops sexy voice in Secret Obsession... Mark Strongs voice in Before I Go To Sleep was doing intense things to me.

I remember that movie...I remember watching it and sometimes I do imagine different plots in my head for movies usually to just think about and wonder how it would've played out, with Beastly...they seemed more like improvements on some parts,for one the guy was not even that ugly he coulda looked worse to be honest.
I love how throughout the movie she keeps forgetting which leg she injured 😂 she continues using the leg that was broken (that is when she remembers it was broken). Also let me tell you that nurse is breaking laws left and right by giving him information at all!!
6:56 A doctor would definitely notice defense wounds and be able to distinguish them from wounds from a crash. I would assume the doctor would bring this up to police
I love how writers of these kind of movies always expect us to believe that the main character has no one in her life - no family, no friends, no colleagues, no neighbours - literally no one, to go "who is this? your husband? lol, no. girl, he isn't." Not even the super suspicious cop looks into her private life and discovers that 'hey, there is no record of this woman ever marrying this guy!' But then the movie would fall apart in like the first few minutes, I guess. So they just cross their fingers and hope the audience is monumentally stupid.
Honestly this whole movie could have been avoided if not for the blood-boiling fact that Ryan really finessed his way to Jennifer's hospital room without having ANY ID checked. I had to have my ID checked when /I/ was being administered into a hospital 😭😭
Why would she confront him when she knows damn well she can’t run away from him and not make him think she trusts him and get away when he leaves again 🤦🏽♀️

I just assumed Russel’s intention was always to make her forget, or force her into the relationship so he’d already been faking the pictures and shit because he was crazy and delusional. Also that pointless character was just there to try and throw off the viewer, they just didn’t do a good job about it lol.

The part about the hospital giving her a cane the day after she was hit by a car is for real what happened to me. I was hit by a car, couldn't move or walk on my own, but the next day they discharged me, gave me a cane and told me to walk out. I had to put my (torn) clothes back on, ON MY OWN, which took me almost an HOUR. A nurse took pity on me and wheeled me out of the hospital to leave with my family, but yeah... 😐
The reason why “detective daddy” is there is because when you’re hit by a car and the driver is unknown/flees the scene, you’re a victim of a crime so a police officer/detective will come and investigate regardless. He’s literally there because she’s a victim of a hit-and-run, not just an accident.
I don't think he had to anticipate that she lost her memory - the pathology of stalkers is to create a world in their heads - we're married; she loves me; I'm her husband - that they try to play out in reality regardless of whether it makes any sense or not. I guess the movie could have explained it better?
...as someone that once looked up characteristics of psychopaths (and specifically the differences between them and sociopaths) for a creative writing piece (write in a genre you don't normally write in etc), not having any particular reason/motive for killing is trademark psychopathy
I feel like the hospital doesn't release anyone especially someone with amnesia to someone just because they say that's their significant other without double checking
I definitely thought that random guy in the beginning was Jennifer's actual husband but he can't say anything for some reason. So it was startling to me that her husband was someone else and was actually dead.

they probably wrote the main charater as white (or just didn't think about race) than Brenda Song got the role and they just didn't bother to adjust cuz they didn't think anyone would care/notice
If they kept the twist a secret we could've gotten a "she's having to fall for him all over again" thing only for it to come back to her that he isn't her husband. That would've been so much better.
😆 I think that guy who came to the hospital was the driver who hit her or who witnessed her accident, so he might've seen the psycho stalker dude and been able to inform the cops
I saw this movie and one of the most upsetting things in the movie was the teleporting wheelchair. They left it downstairs and they go upstairs and she's in the wheelchair, rolling around!
This movie had me and my bf yelling at the stupidity. She had numerous open windows to escape after finding out who he really is. A Netflix movie that is actually quite interesting is Fractured.
