compose, mix, and master a full-scale music composition on these alone and another on the elegias, and see just how much easier it was to get amazing results with the ndh20's. that's the sole reason these headphones are so great. I've had headphones that sound more detailed than these, but even the hd600's have the analytical depth of a piece of paper after you use the ndh20's. These headphones CAN replace studio monitors.
I was gonna pull the trigger on the Neumann's NDH20 but now you've made me reconsider. Very close price points, and for someone looking for closed-backs I think the Elegia might be the one to take the cake. Hmm...
I bought both and send the elegia back. The upper base dip makes a lot of music sound hollow, like it’s missing something. Side by side it was ndh all the way.
I have these with a rupert neve RNHP headphone amp and asus essence hifi sound card. In my head they are very relaxing. I wear them for many hours and no problem. I love the combo. They show you many things in sound without getting you tired. I really like that you can enjoy music, but you can get critic in the recording, the gear, if you want. For the price, I think they are amazing
@@garychen2181 i heard the logo on the side of the elegia actually leaks the music out. Is it true? I wanted to do recording and monitoring, current have neumanns, great sound but too uncomfortable for me. I like the focal comfort but is regarding the logo, does it actually leak sound? Thanks alot!
