Never buying anodized rims again. The rims are only 2 hrs old and are already faded. The red and black went well with the rubicon gladiator color combo. Unfortunately, the red is turning pink and looks like crap! Comment on the video if you had any experience like this and what you did about it!

there are different types of anodizing and also different types of dyes...But in this case it is the dye not the anodizing it self.

This is true! I’ll be coming out with an update video soon. We have sent the rims out to get re-finished. Should be getting the jeep back next week. Thanks for the comment!

My door inserts faded, very upsetting. I had them hard anodized, very happy with them.

Make sure you use the correct cleaning solutions on them with UV protectant

Where can I get wheels anodized? Every anodizing company I call says they can’t/won’t do wheels.

Lol I have no idea how to even get it done no less if it’s possible to re-anodize rims. I wouldn’t even waste the money. I’m getting mine powder coated.

I haven’t contacted the company yet but was told by another jeeper that she did, and was told it’s not covered due to sun damage being the problem

This not sun problem. This is problem with the chemicals with what you are cleaning the rims. I had the same problem.

Only thing is that I don’t use chemicals. Once in a blue moon, soap from the car wash with get on them but no fancy rim cleaner. I usually just use water and a sponge

@@BeastFamilyADV ok. I used soap from car wash and on some spots get protection caot down from the rims. It was to agresive. Now I am using only high presure water for cleaning powder coating is about 200€ a rim. So 5 rims s like a 1000,-€.

@@mcrypto874 yea I’m gonna have to look into that. 200 a rim is still cheaper than 350 lol
