I just paid 64,000 cash last Friday, Flew to Houston, I enjoyed the drive back home to Atlanta, stop start works fine, getting use to it, .5 second delay when taking off, you can feel it, panoramic sunroof is great, love the air suspension on the vehicle, it adjusts accordingly the highway/ manually. MPG averages 16-18 MPG, $70-75 dollars to fill up. Need to buy a lock on gas tank, BlueJean ventilation seats are different mixture of sea salt and blue suede/ leather, Harmon Kardon system love it. Love the tires and rims. Download the RAM APP it has automatic start/lock and few features also. PSI on the tires while driving fluctuates. Steering Wheel is slippery, RAM Care comes with vehicle unlimited power train warranty. Two keys came with vehicle. Multi Function tailgate and retractable running boards has a different feel, Haven’t recline the rear seats yet. Don’t have buyer remorse, Got compliments how it looks day/ night with interior lights on while driving. 12 inch screen, auto play , Bluetooth took minute to sync, I notice if I don’t have a signal , it buffers periodically, Back up cameras is clear, lane assist light illuminates, still trying to figure sound piece of it, Automatic lights/ high beams illuminates at night saw very clearly. Currently reading the manual. 10 year anniversary is in the cluster, arm rest and seats, Drives like a car to be honest
I bought this and absolutely love the contrast with the cloth. It doesn't feel cheap it's actually quite classy. Whoever thought of it must have a design background.
First of All everyone keeps saying they went CHEAP USING CLOTH... GTFOH... They used everything in the book to bring a different look and texture to the interior. The design in the CLOTH material looks great and isn't plain. It looks damn good. I don't want Suede on my doors. Most of the people commenting/Complaining can't even afford this truck lol
The luxury industry is adding more and more fabric to vehicles. Its actually pretty nice in terms of adding more textures over the normal leather. And thankfully they've finally added the Alcantara headliner. I LOVE it!
Not saying Ram didn't cheapen out on the cloth instead of leather , but I know leather pretty well and if it was suede, sliding in and out of it would make it smooth out and look worn much faster. I think the cloth was added just to make a different look and texture.
4:06 it always said Ram in the cluster which I thought it was kind of dumb. When the rebel says rebel on the cluster but the Longhorns and Limiteds didn’t. Until now with there anniversary editions. But on the previous 4 Gen ram clusters also on the top says what trim level you have. Excluding the Laramie, Lonestar, Bighorn, SLT, and Tradesmen. So I don’t know what ram is thinking. But it’s confusing as hell.
Love the interior color and the stitching - HATE that they cheaped-out on the cloth, though! That would be a deal breaker for me - guess I'll be keeping my '21 Limited.
There are thing you can do to turn stuff off. My 16 ram I turned off the seat belt dinger off. I don't remember how, it was turn key click and unclick the seat belt 3x turn key off then on 2 more times and it quit. Something like that. Found it on the net
It's a nice color. Makes the interior pop. But for a truck or anyone with kids that color will be filthy in no time. I went with darker interior. I love the interior of the rams. There's no competition IMO
Ordered my 2022 Ram limited, went with 4X4 and the 3.92 gear to help pull my travel trailer. Not sure about the "cloth" yet but being 63 with no kids riding with us feel it will be fine. The 12" screen I looked at in another Ram and it is awesome!
I never really was a big leather fan in my trucks. Because I buy them for work and I tried to keep them as long as possible always had they fully loaded Sports version minus the leather interior just because how fast the color Fades out of the leather seats. My 01 03 04 Ram tracks had cloth interior but my Ram 14 did have leather and the new 21 or 22 will have leather waiting to see the rebel GT when it comes out soon.
Good Job, Nice looking Truck. Thank god i ordered. My 2021 Ram 1500 4x4 Limited Longhorn. With out the start-stop BS. I saved $200.00 bucks, and 74 pound of weight.
@@flexonthadevil hey dodge here in warren/Detroit Michigan was still building the 2009-2018 styler ram 1500 up to last year . That why they only switch out the front end of the HD . 2023 2024 we should see the 19 and up 1500 cab on HD
@@ATF1985 They need to hurry up.. My 2013 1500 sport is at 199k miles and slowly becoming a POS... Don't want another 5.7, but I also don't want that small 4th gen cab on the 2500, and hate the way the mega cab looks. It makes the rear window look tiny.. lol.
Why in the heck didn't you drive it with the auto stop/start turned off? That's what I need to know about. There is not one vehicle I have owned where I did not turn off the stop/start. It's stupid, it never works correctly and ruins the driving pleasure of the vehicle.
Not sure what dealer you are at- just started watching your stuff. I am looking for a 3500 Longhorn HO SRW pretty well loaded up. If you have one in or on the way let us know. Happy to order too if needed.
Our manager rarely orders high output SRW trucks(Mostly Dullys) and he rarely orders Longhorns only Laramies in the rare limited‘s. It would have to be ordered, but yeah right now we’re at sticker for 2500/3500 trucks.. if you would want to order DM me on Instagram.
HO SRW are rare I’m lucky I found a bighorn for my brother in 2019. When discounts were a thing, it was a good 15k cheaper than special order Just about all of them are dually, you will have to special order it ,
Absolutely hate the start/stop EPA gimmick. My wife has it in her 2019 Pacifica. We also press the Ah-hole button to turn it off (A with a circle around it, named for the Ah-hole who came up with it). Thank goodness my 2020 2500 MegaCab 6.4 Hemi does not have the stop/start. Of course I don't like the MDS either. Alway hit the gear limiter to turn it off (and also turn on the gear indicator so that I can see what gear I am in).
I like the blue and the quilting but that’s about it. Think they missed the mark. BMW has that stop start situation as well. Will turn off when you’re coasting under 9 miles an hour for brake regeneration.
Dude if it rolled back because you didn't have your foot on the brake no different than a manual truck.. It shuts off after 3mph for sure. The speedometer takes time to come down. It's not instant.
I love my Rams but seems like Ram always misses something in there trucks I just purchased a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Southwest Edition and the only way I know this is because it's on the window sticker and some parts of the truck are very noticeable but there is no indication on my truck that it's a Southwest Edition even the little badge on the armrest indicates Laramie not Southwest Edition like the new 10th anniversary was very noticeable loving that sea salt color
I paid 63,000 for my 2019 4x4 with two package wide snow tires and after market rims with a 4" lift kit! I'm definitely not a stop/start fan!... Wish they would do away with that feature! Just annoying! 71,000 for a two wheel drive is way too much if you ask me!
You can shut off the start and stop feature in the info screen? Not sure why everyone thinks this is a deal breaker lol. The e torque option is a horrible idea though as the regeneration braking is horrible and annoying and you can hear it. Can’t turn that off

I have a 21,, like several have stated is not like the 22,, it turns off when the truck is completely stop,,, the split tailgate has grown on me,,, I didn’t get one with mine because I didn’t like the split in the middle,, after have mine since March I can c several times when it would b useful,, everybody has different taste,, this truck cost a lot for it to not have a sunroof,, and 4 wheel drive
I love the truck, but no one is talking about the MDS, it was a complete waste. And we suppose to believe the dealer care about gas consumption. We need to know how to remove it...
$72k for a 4x2. 😂🤣😂 send it back. Lmfao. Edit: if I wanted to deal with a truck that had stop/start, I would go get a truck with more features on the hybrid side, like the F150 powerboost with the generator mode.
If you wait too long between oil changes then it will be an issue. Change oil every 5k miles or before and you will not have that problem. Don't let the computer tell you when it's time for oil change, intervals too long in my opinion.
You can turn it off. Plus, there are companies making modules that will disable it every time you start the truck so you don't have to push the button every time.
Good lookin truck, but for that amount of money it should at least come with the panoramic sunroof! No roof...no go for me. 👎🏾And no retractable running boards. That should be a standard feature for that expensive truck.
@Carl Jacobs What does that have to do with being liberal 🤔, I'm just saying what I think, for that amount of money there's a few features it's lacking.
@@The02CumminsRAM That makes sense, thanks for the info. It is very good lookin truck, I have a 2007 Ram 1500 myself, lookin to upgrade in the next year or so, and I really want the Limited for myself.
It’s happened before😂 since working at the dealership I’ve seen about 3 to 4000 trucks new trucks come in(and have driven about 90% of them lol) and we had a 2500 once that had a 2500 badge on one side and a 3500 badge on the other, things just get mixed up sometimes! lol
