I really like how you show the phone. It's not you trying to video the phone while you are using it, but rather a screen capture overlaid on a nice visual of the device on your desk. Very clean. Great job.

I thought it was brilliant and had to try it. Filming the camera always looked horrible to me and there was no real good way of doing it. Thank you for this comment. I have to say, your channel has helped me so much when it comes to understanding general use and also what these devices are capable of. I have recently purchased an offer on Amazon for 2 Echo Plus' & the Echo Sub for £300. It seemed like a good price for the 2.1 package as I saved £100 so I thought, why not. Hello Mark, I am glad that I could deliver for you and give you the review you were looking for. I am glad that you enjoyed the video. If anything, I would suggest spending the money on an echo show. I was more impressed with how much bass now comes out of it. I was enjoying listening to music on it over my homepod. I had to do a side by side test and it was beating the homepod. I have and I like it. Your review was good but you have to remember there is a break in time for speakers to get the full sound.

Still a few issues with what it does and does not work on. I'f like to see some EQ curves (not just bass & treble adjustment) for specific Echo devices that rolls of the high end to better match the Echo it is attached to. The sub needs a bit more mid-bass to fill in the void between the low end of the Echo Dot and the high end of the sub. Other than that, it sounds pretty nice.

Hi always tempted by new gadgets & white Show from eBay UK should soon be on its way to me here in France. However, I do have a very expensive & ancient Bose 5:1 system connected to Spotify via Bluetooth & I guess from other comments I could also connect my Spot. Folks do seem to have problems with the Sub & the Echo Pluses so not for me at the moment. Thanks for your review tho' I could hear extraneous noise through my headphones. 🤔😎

Hello Roger, thank you for sharing your setup. It is hard to replace a system that works well for you. I put together a nice Denon receiver sound system and see no reason to get rid of it. I would get an Echo Dot and connect it up to your Bose Setup. Then you can go right from the Dot with spotify. You can then make that your default music source in the Alexa app. When you ask for a song, artist, etc, it would get it from spotify. I will have to listen to the video with headphones. After the fact, I realize I was playing it too loud for my microphone. Thank you for leaving a comment and for watching. Have a great day.

Hello Thanh Tran, Thank you very much. I am glad that you enjoyed the video. it is a bummer that you can't use the Echo show 2 with a sub over bluetooth. It is very disappointing that it only works with supported music services. I can not find a setting that will allow you to change the screen timeout. i have seen a lot of people ask the same question and have posted it in forums. No one has come up with away to change it. Hello Doge Wow, no you cannot send bluetooth audio to the sub. In the description of the sub Amazon says it is not supported. It is a bummer that it does not work with bluetooth. Hopefully that will get fixed in a future update. Thank you for your question and for watching. Have a great day.

Hello Arnold, from what I have found, you can only connect one sub to a pair. From what I understand, you can connect multiple stereo speaker pairs into multiple groups. I only have 2 echos that can make a pair. I have not been able to try multiple pairs in a group. It would be nice to be able to make a home theater with echos. I am curious how the Amazon Link and Link plus will work and if it will expanded the stereo pair functionality. Thanks for the comment. Have a great day Arnold.

I don’t know whether you know or not If you have more than one Amazon speaker Set them all to multi room Then when you want to play some music you just have to name the music you want And you don’t have to say play on multi room

I bought and paired mine with 2 new Echos because I listen to alot of Amazon Prime Music. Disappointed to find it (the sub and stereo pair) don't fire with Bluetooth or commands like "Flash Briefing" etc. Maybe later with some software updates we'll get true Bluetooth 2.1 sound? Nice wrap up. BTW - you failed to mention in the other videos how long it took and how cumbersome and frustrating it was just to set up the 2 new Echo speakers via the horrible app. Just sayin.

Hello HotSauceDaily, that is great that you listen to a lot of Amazon Prime Music. This is a good device for you since you are using a supported service. But, quite disappointing for anyone wanting to stream over bluetooth and other audio options like Flash Briefings or Prime Video. I do home that it does get improved soon with an update. Thank you for the compliment. I am glad that you enjoyed the video. It can get silly with the Alexa App. Sometimes it quick and easy. Other times it just is a pain. i think the bad thing about that is that you can't use it with your voice without having to turn on your home theater first. idk that would kind of annoy me.....with this subwoofer it's just always on or standy or whatever they do with it. So you can just say what ever you want without having to get up and turning anything on.

I have the sub system with the third gen dot. The sub is rated at 100 watts, I've noticed the sub only reaches 10 watts at full volume. I can't reach the other 90 watts on the sub. Is there a fix for this. I bought it because of the 100 watt rating. I like the sub and want to keep it. However, that's a lot of money for 10 watts...

That is a bummer that it is not receiving more power. I wonder if it is capped out at the power of the Echo device. But that does not make sense if that is what they have done. Since it is a lower wattage echo speaker, it may not be able to drive the bass higher than its capacity. That would be messed up if that was the case. It is a lot of money for the sub. I would rather put that money into one of the new echo 3rd generations and boost the overall sound. I did a video on the two new echos and the 3rd gen echo sounds good. Thanks for watching. I was using an Echo Show 2nd generation with Amazon Music. Only Amazon Music will show the lyrics on the Echo Shows.

I'm assuming you can't pair the sub with multiple devices? For example an Echo in the kitchen and dining room and you only wanted one on, would you have to re-pair every time? It would be good if this was just a sub that would run regardless of other devices were playing. Also, will this play when you have multi-room audio playing?

Hello Ben, you can't pair it with multiple devices. Only one device at a time. I am away on vacation and cannot check it at this time for playing in multi-room audio. I would suggest if you have more then 2 echos to put two in speaker pairing and then try to add them to a group. I wish I could try it out now and give you a better answer. Hello Graham, I think they are definitely trying to break things up into components to give people options of a configuration that they would want. You can do a dot or Echo and a sub. Or you can do a 2.1 like JW Vlogs mentions. I also think you would end up with a very big device they wanted to put that 6" speaker in it. The sub is pretty big. It would be nice to see the option though of the sub with the echo and smaller speakers built in. Might not be a big seller for them with these options available. It's ( The Echo Sub) not a sub at all. To have some decent bass, I have to turn up the volume of my 2 Echo Dots 4 g real loud. It's suck ' because at normal near field listening level, the Echo Sub produces a weak , very weak bass. My under $200.00 Klipsch Promedia 2.1 on the other hand can produce a high quality loud and deep bass at a low level listening.

Alexa use to tell me what the skills were but idk why she stopped talking. After you get home let me know whats going on with it.

That is odd that it stopped telling the skills. I wonder if Amazon broke a few things with the latest big updates they did. Hopefully it will get worked out.
