ARRMA makes great heatsinks. Lots of contact area with the motor and surface area to distribute and dissipate heat.

Great video. Awesome truck. One thing I wish I had done on my v2 was either raise the body, or I've seen someone on a v2.5 put foam on the front shock tower in order to prevent the it from poking holes in the body if you land upside down. Just got 2 holes in my new Vorteks body and kicking myself for not thinking about those sharp shock tower corners. I am curious, what is the difference between with the v2 chassis compared to the v2.5? Is it just holes for mounting the new center diff? Or are there any other differences? Heh just realized how long this post is and I hadn't even talked about shock and diff oils yet 😂🤣

Unfortunately on here you can't share pictures but I use gorilla tape in a few specific spots to help the body I got over the shoe goo stuff not enough benefit for time an money in my book... you should see the 8s where the shock tower is trying to push thru lol

Hello! the back battery holder is shaped like that to pass the battery plugs through, not to fix the battery in that space in the middle

i finally figured that out but no matter what it kinda sucks i have now replaced them with my favorite kevlar straps from garage life rc... also done some much needed upgrades that video will be out soon ... thanks for watching
