I can’t wear the Rebel v2 every day, but the aspects that make it that way are also what I like about it

SC trainer will make legs feel good after long runs, rebel v3 for my workouts, SC Pacer for short races and SC Elite v3 perfect for fall marathon. Very excited.

Damn 2022 is going be wild... the heat is ON between all the shoe makers! Curved plates and 40% (!) more energy return in the SuperComp? That's truly remarkable.

I think the SC trainer will be perfect for my marathon next fall. I’m shooting for sub 3:30 so no one cares about race legal shoes, but I don’t quite want to cough up the cash for the Elite.

Funny, I’m a new runner this year logging about 5-6 miles daily. And I missed out on the Rebel V2 so I bought the Rebel V3 and SC Pacer. I wear my Rebel V3’s as my daily trainer and Pacers when I wanna pick up my speed. Love them both! He was spot on with his assessments 👏❤️

Switched from Hoka one one Rincon to rebel v2's this year and am sold can't wait for the 2022 models to come out. Just found d my next two pairs in this video.

Great lineup! Too bad we have to wait until Sept for the Rebel v3. I would imagine they will drop more colors of the v2 in the meantime.

I certainly can’t wear the rebel everyday, or for long distance, but the reasons for this (lightweight squishiness) are what make it such a fun shoe. Can’t have everything unfortunately.

Man I got enough shoes and not enough running but New Balance RC and the SC Trainer look so promising. I really like the thought of these designs as well as the FFM V3. For me I think the trainer is going to be the one I would like to try the most. And price point at $180 I think isn't so bad. Appears NB keeps improving over the last few years. 👏

New Balance is gonna have a big year. They have the potential of being the best running brand of 2022.

I also felt my ankles after Rebel v2 run, but overall i think its a great shoe.

Personally I loved the look of the Rebel V2, but V3 could grow on me. Excited to try the SC Trainer though…what a beauty!

The rc elite looks pretty sweet. It seems like the tech on the shoes is now changing so rapidly. Nb does make some visually appealing shoes imo. Also what's with the white balloon futuristic bubble backround? I kinda like it tho.

All these shoes provided GEL - CUSHION & COMFORT only on the HEELS whereas no one notice that almost 60% runners put FIRST pressure on FRONT or MIDDLE FOOT. As I am the front foot runner …. Can you tell me the exact shoes for me ???

i dont agree or run in shoes whit drop and narrow toeboxes, but i love to watch, and i do understand why ppl stuff theire feet in shoeshaped shoes.

I hope the Rebel V3 upper is more durable than the Rebel V2. Many have reported upper failure after only 80-100 miles.

Rules are rules in any competition don’t matter if it’s for records to qualifying times, to ranking points if your a front packer to rear packer, I think the companies are pushing for a higher heel drop hoping WA gives in and raises the heel drop for competitions

Damn, I was really hopeful for a 5280v2. The Pacer seems to be the closest we’ll get, but I’d like to see something a little more focused on aggressiveness rather than a 5k to half marathon shoe

just bought the rc elite v2. Did not like the lock down in the heel. Running with the rebel v2 on one foot and the rc elite v2 on the other foot, my observation is : Rebel v2 has a better fit and lock down on the heel. Rc elite v2 has better caution and energy return. Hope NB fixes the Heel slippage issue on the new sc elite and they will have a winner there. Better sale for sure. The shoe looks fantastic, lets hope it perform as good as it look.

I find myself questioning New Balance's approach to the Rebel V3. (I have three pairs of the V2, and two pairs of the V1). NB seems to want to make the V3 market appeal even wider by adding 2mm cushion front to back, and slightly changing the outsole shape. Confusing to me because there are other NB shoes that cover those market segments. For the increasing cushioning aspect of it, I would say: there are plenty of NB shoes with greater cushioning (defined as mm stack height, since everyone will have different subjective feelings about "cushioning"). The Rebel (both V1 and V2) are best used IMHO as a midfoot/forefoot running shoe for faster speeds (again, dependent on the individual). The Rebel V1 came about when NB worked with Jenny Simpson (one of the greatest American middle distance runners ever). She has a mid foot strike and if you look at the original rebel's flared lateral outsole, that was clearly designed with her (and most midfoot strikers' gait patterns) in mind. This was reduced a bit in the V2. Now, NB says the outsole will be slightly wider, but I noticed the lateral flair seems even more reduced than the V2. So it's sort of making the V3 less unique. IMHO, what makes the V2 so great (for the type of runner I described previously) is a combination of a few things: great cushioning/weight ratio, flexible midsole without structural elements, midfoot striker friendly outsole shape, relatively low drop, and the availability of wide widths. Hope they keep those elements going forward!

Nothing else at that price point using a supercritical foam he says... Hold my beer say Puma. Oh kidding aside, I'll probably be picking up the V3 when it comes out.

energy arch looks like a rock collector lol, i don't know how i would feel about that big hole in the bottom of the shoe, seems like it would not feel good and just collect a lot of rocks in the bottom. I will probably skip these shoes

New Balance has the MOST confusing running shoe department in the world. The numbers, the pricepoints, the shoes being taken out after version 1. I really just cant stand it.
