Picking up my new BMW R 1250 RT LE from Bahnstormer Motorrad at Alton in Hampshire on 7 November 2023.
Additions/extras from standard LE specs are:
1. 49L Top Case with integrated high level brake light
2. ACC - Active Cruise Control
3. Additional LED Fog Lights
I've also fitted a Wunderlich VarioLever clutch lever due to my missing fingers and their side stand enlarger for softer ground.

Ride a 2015 BMW RT and had an opportunity to ride my friends 2023 RT. The bike felt a little more balanced and the exhaust note was a little deeper in the bike, and of course the TFT was amazing. The only thing I would like is for the NAV to have a satellite connection understanding you lose connectivity in the U.S. where’s there’s no coverage via the cell carriers.

Definitely. When I drove the PCH a couple of years ago, I relied on my iPhone and Waze for navigation and was amazed at just how poor cellular coverage is in the US.

Well, as I live and breathe! None other than himself pops up on my RU-vid feed. Due entirely because I've been looking at BMW motorrad offerings and currently quite interested in the R1250LT. I'm glad you're back on 2 wheels and sounding healthy and well. Love, Dino 🦖

When the nav is in full screen mode hit the jog wheel to the left,you then scroll up and down to zoom in and out,once you’ve got the required view you can then return to split screen

Good thing you obscured the speedo lest the black helicopters launch to search you out lol. Congrats. I think this is my next bike, same color. Enjoy!

You'll love it! I wasn't speeding on purpose but if I had accidentally and momentarily had an extremely slight excess of speed, I wouldn't want to find this used against me, especially having shown the registration plate.

It's really agile once you're on the move. It's size means it's supremely comfortable too.

Enjoy mate. I'm waiting for mine to show up. Same colour with the black RT decal, and a few extra 719 Options for mine oh and the Akra 😊

I thought the Akra would be noisier, but it doesn't seem to make that much difference? I have a full Akra system on my Kawasaki ZRX1200R and love it. Looks wise, your Akra really will look good! I stayed away from the 719 Options list, partly because I needed a shorty clutch lever due to finger amputations and my gloves now getting trapped, and sadly the 719 Options don't seem to include one. So Wunderlich got that gig along with the side stand base enlarger.

The dealership has made ypur plate up incorrectly. It shoukd be 8000 RM. As displayed it is misrepresented and indicates 800 ORM. The standard size plare can take 4 characters on one line as most plates have 7 characters. I would get them to change that for you asap. Cracking bike BTW

Thanks! I already had a plate made up with the letters spaced as expected so I whacked it on. I love the RT. Everything I’d hoped it would be. Very grown up though 😅
