Donut Muffins - Chocolate, Glazed or Cinnamon Sugar - Easy & Cheap- The Hillbilly Kitchen
These mini-muffin donuts are simple and easy to make. With the topping options you are sure to please every taste. Don’t limit yourself to the three I suggested. Kids love sprinkles on everything, and you can add sprinkles to the plain or chocolate glaze while it is wet. You can also sprinkle coconut or chopped nuts on the wet glazed muffins.
Have fun with these tasty little treats. Make some memories. This is one of those recipes that just might turn into a family tradition.

Ingredients:
Muffins:
1 cup Self-Rising Flour (1 c AP Flour + 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder + 1/8 tsp salt)
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Milk
¼ cup Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Cinnamon & Sugar Coating:
½ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ cup Butter
Glaze:
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 + tablespoon Milk
Chocolate Glaze (Mine and Alexa’s Favorite):
1 cup Powdered Sugar
2 tablespoons Cocoa
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 + tablespoon Milk

Becky, I love these donuts. I don’t like putting them in oil to fry them. I have a couple of mini bunt cake pans. I’m going to put them in those pans. I absolutely love that you talk about God, the Bible, and quote verses from the Bible, too. God has been calling on me and knocking on my heart, to start living for him, again. I have backslid and I don't like it. When I was a Christian and the holy spirit lived within me, I was soooo, so happy and I have the peace that surpasses all understanding. Some things happened and I was being talked to very, VERY badly every single day for a few months, which caused me to become depressed and all of a sudden, one day, I felt that peace leave me. There's some things that I don't want to put on here, that has to do with all of this, but I would like to talk with you about it.

Ohhhh, so good! While lovely wife was away working in the church office I watched this latest from you and decided to try it. I have had successes and failures but this was a great success. Not having a mini muffin pan I used full size. The muffins came out of the oven just as my wife arrived home and we had warm donut muffins dipped in the butter and cinnamon sugar and some dipped in the glaze. Then we shared one more dipped in butter, cinnamon sugar and glaze. Yum! No cocoa on hand so skipped that but will pick some up. I have been informed that this recipe will be kept and used when the family comes to visit. So easy I'll bet it will be more often than that. You bring great smiles. Thank you.

My 4 year old begged to watch a Hillbilly kitchen before bed last night! How could i refuse? 😄 We watched this one and at the end when you talk about the Lord he said, "That's true, right Mama?" My mom loved to bake & EVERYTHING was made from scratch. I can remember her making homemade donuts & fried apple pies. The apples came from her apple trees. She also grew grapes, cherries & peaches. Great memories! I miss her😌 Love watching your videos🙏♥✨

Hi you made your Hillbilly Fudge last year with Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips and Condence Milk well I made it for Valentines Day but I don't have a microwave so I melted the chips in a quart pot and added the milk spreader on my cookie sheet with wax paper and covered with plastic wrap let me tell you it was the Best fudge I ever had. These are really good little treats My oven is different. Even tho the toothpick came out clean after 15 minutes, they were doughy inside so I put them in 7 minutes longer and they’re good. Very crispy on the outside. I added 1/4 tsp nutmeg to the batter and next time I’ll add more Instead of dipping them, I spooned cinnamon-sugar over them as soon as they were out of the oven. They really taste like donuts. Good for weight watchers Thank you for the recipe. I’m giving some to a friend today and I’m bringing the rest to our senior citizens meeting. I was motivated to buy a mini muffin pan and a tbsp Corky scoop. I got 24 muffins by using about 1/2 of the scoop. There was some left over so I went back with a 1/4 tsp and added that to the muffins. I’m really thrilled over these.
