So much fun haha, make sure you get a 360 controller for PC since most games nowadays that support gamepads are configured for the 360 controller. So much hassle getting my Cordless Rumblepad configured for a lot of games.

Good idea with the ASUS, one of the best moniters to use for gaming. I suggest Astros for gaming though. I use the A30s and they run well along with surround sound. Ive just always had issues on Turtle Beach.

Actually the A40 is a stereo headset. The 7.1 is simulated (and simulated fairly well) through the Mixamp Pro. I have A40's and they're amazing. Great setup too bro!

Hey Phil, If you make sure to install your Xbox games, they are going to perform better and a few minutes after startup your Xbox won't make noise. Also, that thing isn't gonna red ring any time soon, if at all.

good pop filter is the nady pop filter. $20 with hella good reviews. i got an AKG 220 condenser mic barely used for $65 and new they are $180

PC monitors are definitely the better choice for gaming. Although your best bet is to just play your games on PC, games look sharper/run smoother. I usually just hook a console controller up to my PC as well. It's like an Xbox on steroids.
