Very cool, Luke! I’ve got 4 of these guys here in the UK, from animals bred in 2 different zoos in Europe. This will hopefully be the first year of breeding them. I find their feeding habits quite interesting, my experience is that in comparison to many other Varanids, they are far more fussy over which species of invertebrates etc they will feed on - mine love roaches, locusts and crickets plus chopped liver, kidney, mince, eggs etc, but there are also many things that my particular specimens will totally ignore such as mealworms, super worms and even pinkie mice for example! They live well in groups, even multiple males as I’m sure you’re aware, so I hope you get the chance to add more for a future breeding project! All the best, cheers, Al (p.s love the videos btw, been watching for a long time now! - Australia really is the reptile capital of the world 👑)
Hey I love how youve created its setup, btw what do you think is better an ackie or pygmy mulga monitor? I already have a pair of ackies but just wondering
What are the dimensions that can make this guy comfortable as an adult but still be as small as possible. In other words what is the size (inches and Length, depth and height)
