It's not ironic at all. "Anti" means "of the same kind, but opposite" so ANTI Racist doesnt actually mean "Not Racist" it actually means "Racist, but from the other direction" I.E: They just hide it with the cloak of "tolerance" (unless you dont believe exactly what they believe) and low expectations (poor kids can be just as smart and successful as white kids, so their figureheads quote goes)
Anti-Racism is in it of itself a racist ideology because it's founded on treating marginalized groups as if they all had the same hard life regardless if they're a homeless black man in California or Obama.
Because now they don't have anyone to bully when the JP artist starts moving to a real safe space without being canceled or demonized over a piece of drawing or fictional character. What's really about here is these people are really afraid to lose their power to influence and bully over the artist that they have been doing for years now. That is why they're mad. It's always and always has been with them going mad with power on social media AKA Twitter/X & once they see that power is being strip away they get really mad about it.

Hello, I was the person who originally wrote the Misskey PSA, but I have already deleted it as it was causing everyone too much trouble. It was meant to be a post on Misskey for the new users who just joined Misskey, so I was shocked to see someone had screenshotted it and reuploaded it, while making Misskey out to be a free-for-all with no rules whatsoever. I feel very regretful for trying to help everyone to get along, as instead it ended up doing more harm than good. I've been called all sorts of names by the English speakers from all sides, and even started getting nasty comments from new English users on Misskey who found my posts advising on proper tagging and what terms to mute, because they felt that they can run wild with no repercussion. I don't mind being the one taking the dogpiling, but what makes me the most upset is to see people spreading misinformation, taking things wildly out of context, and needlessly fighting. In the end it is the platform and its users who suffer, and may even face legal trouble because of the actions of these users, so all I wish is that people can put themselves aside for once. This isn't about "proship" or "anti" as I've been dunked on relentlessly by people claiming to be on either side simply because my views don't perfectly align with each person's unique individual perspective. Extremes don't do anyone any good, and I am very sorry for all of the inconveniences that I have caused. I'm not sure what else to do to fix this aside from quietly deleting all my Misskey-related posts from Twitter. If anyone sees this comment, I thank you kindly for taking the time to read. While I would of course be grateful regardless, there is no need to pity me or feel bad or feel that it is unfair, because my intention from the very beginning was to help. If my help was what caused the consequences, then I shouldn't feel upset, as it was never about me. For my help to be genuine, my feelings come secondary, and I'm okay with that. All the best and I hope everyone takes care of themselves.
Sorry you've been getting attacked by idiots and people just looking to cause trouble. They sadly exist on all platforms and when they get bored with one they hunt for others.
@@LattePunch It’s okay, there’s no need to be sorry! I signed up to put myself out there publicly and this is just a side-effect of being exposed to thousands of different people in a short amount of time. Though many people have been mean to me, many people have also been very kind to stand up for me during this whole mess and although I have received many QRTs and gross comments, I have yet to receive a single nasty DM (although that may also be due to the new messaging settings) All I can hope for is that for those reasonable folks watching on the sidelines, this can be a good means of facilitating important discussion, even if it’s at my own expense.
I honestly cannot fathom how a simple "Hey guys, be nice to each other, don't send death threats at artists for drawing fictional characters" is enough to get some people so mad they attack others online. Like, if they don't like it, just don't look at it???? It's great that you aren't affected by the online attacks. Some people can't handle it and well, you know. This new platform seems to provide artists with a breath of fresh air about what they can draw, and I really hope it stays that way.
I don't even see what would be offensive on there. It was just helping to explain the rules better. They need to lose electronics completely to redevelop their brain, but I'm very sorry to hear this. But even with like 3 different ways of saying this, I would probably struggle to know how to use it because of my autism. Thank you for your work.
I like lots of aspects of japanese culture but the fact of the matter is there's a portion of their culture that's just pure sexual degeneracy. And that's putting it politely
_Yeah! Made one 2 days ago. Misskey is great so far!!! The cat gimmick is cute! ❤ I treat it as an art site tbh!_ _Edit: Decided to try the italicized text! It's fun! 🤩_
It really says a lot when people take issue with "no fighting over morals". How dare people want to just discuss things in peace without busybodies being offended by other people's behalf who themselves aren't offended (so then the busybodies move on to those people to lecture them they're supposed to be offended)!
It really does. These people get so high off their own farts they can't fathom other people not wanting moral bullshit shoved into their faces 24/7 or to crusade against those who are not the same
The site calls itself out failing to meet gdpr means it is unsafe with usser data Gdpr is just data protection and consent laws like thenyou have to have consent for cookies laws or dont sell private identifiable info on black market laws only reason to not be compleint with gdpr is your doing somthing very unethical with data and dont want to be finned 20 million euroes
The funniest thing is that they'll call you a pedo for liking art of legal characters while simultaneously cheering on the sterilization and genital mutilation of real life children. Actually funny is what I would use if it weren't so infuriatingly hypocritical.
These people are thugs who cannot live their lives without harassing or trying to abuse others in some way... they live off the misery they want to cause others.
Twitter is like being in a relationship with a narcissist. Constantly mad at you, pissed that you don't meet their ungodly standards, and claim you're the bad guy for leaving them.
As someone who is Japanese, and get harassed in real life. I'm glad i dont have twitter or any other social media, because this happens. so unfortunate

True. Twitter sucks bad was sadly one of the only super good place for artists yknow what I mean? Like Twitter was good for artists but the platform as a whole sucks.
I don't understand why they use twitter when pixiv and fantia is already a thing, especially Japanese artists. Twitter is full of braindead teens who get offended by pretty much everything, there's more downsides than benefits.
Very few sights let you post NSFW and it used to have the best system for following/finding artists. Instas algorithm sucks balls, DA and Furaffinity are both horribly outdated (wont even get into the issse with FA's owner that keeps people away) and whats left, reddit? (and patreon, but you need a following first for that to work) Its just the simple fact that twitter was flat out the best place to have your work 'found'. being an artist right now isnt fun ;-;
Bingo! That's really what it boils down to. After all, these weirdoes are a bunch of power-hungry megalomaniacs that seek to have power and control over those they don't like due to their fragile egos and deep-rooted insecurity. There's a reason these lunatic spend too much time on Twitter. It's one of the main places that gives them real power.
As I already wrote in another comment on this video: These people are thugs who cannot live their lives without harassing or trying to abuse others in some way... they live off the misery they want to cause others.
You know how, sometimes, you get dumped and your ex says you'll never amount to anything and will never be happy but then get upset when they see you go on to live a happy life without them, instead of fading away into oblivion? This reminds me of that.
Or when the ex sarcastically says that they hope you'll be happy in your life without them while fully expecting you to beg them to come back in the future and then get mad when you're actually living happily without them
Souble meaning the8r “we dont comply with gdpr” thats thengeneral data protection regulations they dong comply with the safest data protection laws in the world
Twitter dictating artists on how artists should draw or depict their own art. How are they not tired of doing that?? It’s an endless cycle of bashing JP artists.
A abusive platform that’s filled with so many entitled gaslighting, hypocritical abusive people. The site either creates abusers, attracts existing ones, or just both. Artists have been a victim of Twitter’s abuse for long enough.
As a Japanese person I've been harassed for writing certain ships abd things like that and it's annoying. I'm mind my own business and then some self righteous American tries me like????
As an east Asian person, same thing happened to me and my friends, too. I think we should stay away from Twitter or other western media cause there are so many people who cannot seperate fiction from reality and like to accuse people of being an actual criminal for only liking some wierd 2d fictional stuff on those websites
Western politics and activism have become such a dumpster fire over around the last 10 years from my experience and this has by natural consequence spilled over all of the internet. Don't know the minute details of what happened, but I think things REEEALLY started to derail for the worst after 2016 onwards. It didn't use to be THAT bad before that.
West is falling apart in realtime. I see NHK world promoting American beliefs, and news of Japan adopting American sexual crime laws on the national and prefectural level, and I am ashamed and worried.
As an American, I feel like I have to apologize. Those sorts of people weren't meant for the internet, why they've been allowed on is beyond me. Obviously my Twitter account is a placeholder for gacha games only, so my insight into Twitter is from videos like this, but I think that's enough. It's a shame misskey is blocking western users now, I was excited to find an art space without Twitter losers on it. Guess it's back to Bluesky and hoping the artists ever show up.
There's also other places like Mastodon, Baraag and Pawoo, but a Japanese-centric Twitter is a good idea, so to 100% make sure of no woke western intervention.
Considering how users on Twitter behave and want fictional characters to have more rights than I did when I was born, I don't blame anyone if they want to go to that new site.
When fictional characters are treated more human than an actual, living and breathing human being you know there's something fucking wrong with society
Ah yes, religious prolifers and the far left wokes, teaming up to ensure children are stripped of their right to have a good, happy life, instead forced into a shit world as an unwanted kid. "I had a shit life, so let's make it hell for everyone else!"
What's really about here is these people are really afraid to lose their power to influence and bully over the artist that they have been doing for years now. That is why they're mad. They can say all they want with words they want fictional characters to have more rights to make them look good as a facade but in reality you know how they end up treating real people/artist even lower and put a fictional characters more than the real live themself.
Honestly a huge portion of western artists in various fandoms are also sick of the twitter insanity too. I can see them trying to go into this site to get away from twitter as well.
Twitter is like being trapped in a abusive relationship with an egomaniac always criticizing you when they do much worse constantly makes BS reasons why you do bad/why they never do bad constantly feeling like you're walking on eggshells around them mad that you never meet their high standards when you say you're leaving them, they try to call your bluff and then once you leave them for another (much better) partner, they piss themselves and claim YOURE the bad partner and that THEYRE the victim then when that doesn't work, they accuse your new partner of things they NEVER DID, but THEY THEMSELVES DID (aka projecting)

Oh they never actually wanted anyone to do it, they just said that kind of stuff because twitter is a "private company" and therefore had the right to censor. Note that I'm using past tense here, as that right magically no longer exists now that twitter is no longer a CIA asset and instead is actually a private company owned by somebody there terminally online troglodytes don't like.
The most insulting part often is when alternatives are made they are almost always crippled on the offset, coordinated removals from appstores, media slander you name it, hell the same thing was tried on Twitter when Elon bought it, the news media declared it a haven for genocidal racists overnight even though very little has changed at that point

I've expressed my own concerns with more people joining the site. I joined it only a day or two before the more en masse flood and I'm sad to see some of the JP bros get sad over the state of things. Their rules for what counts as NSFW and must be flagged is EXTREMELY strict (Like, specifically drawings of girls with too much sweat or tight fitting bodysuits, while still being fully clothed must be flagged as NSFW) I try to be respectful, and even tried to explain the rules for the average person to understand, but I can only do so much
They set clear rules that cannot be misconstrued and is welcoming of anyone to enter. All they are asking for is to be kind and respectful. I'll also make an account.

Imagine twitter without the artist community from the JP side, or just the artist community in general, probably the site would turn into an utter mess. And probably that day will soon come and I can't wait to see it.
I didn't know freedom of expression had been so censored on Twitter - now X - until I tried Misskey for myself. It's hard to deny that much of the push against the platform is from a monetary angle which feels threatened by free, open-source, decentralized social media. When has society gotten so low that they can't self-regulate what they see?
People are naturally made to be minimum effort, mix with that the fact the last two generations are from one of the MOST PEACEFUL (To 1st Worlders mind you) times ever humanity has seen and that Humans are rarely ABLE to live in such state for long enough.
A third of humanity are twice as stupid as you think the average stupid level is in a human being. These people are so braindead that they go through the motions of life with a smile as the world burns down around them, they vote for their 'team' not the politics that make sense and at the end of the day they go home to their husband/wife and single child in their middle-class home and watch the media on TV, drinking all the kool aid. If you approach these people with the truth in the real world they look at you like you're a time travelling wizard and tell you to calm down, nothing can be that bad. They'll deny anything bad is happening until their neighbours of family are being killed or sent to gulag. In Australia our culture has been erased, and they are screaming about reparations for a 'class' of people who aren't even the victims of slavery, maybe a victim, of the corrupt goverment but no more than the next person. I don't feel safe walking down open streets anymore because you can get punched in the face, die and no one will be charged for it.
Once that happens, perhaps the freaks will finally flock back to Tumblr from whence they came. Although Tumblr still doesn't allow NSFW anymore, so they'll have to get their fix of degeneracy somewhere else, but at least their whinging about spooks like "hu-wyte supremes!" and "patriarchy!" and "victimizing fictional characters!" would be quarantined there.

Japan has some of the weirdest prawn out there, yet they have one of the lowest crime rates in the world. So given the current state of western society, I don't think foreigners are in any position to be judging them.
Reminds me of the comments about the Unit 731 being brought out of the dusty ass chest in the attic and the "never forgive the Japanese" shit coming out of a lot of people's mouthasses like they did a Taco Bell mukbang after Oppenheimer got banned in Japan
I don't think the prawn has anything to do with it. Their culture has always been "the nail that sticks out gets hammered" and there has always been a stronger sense of community than in the West. That's just Asia in general. Look at traffic jams in China. No one is freaking out (comparatively speaking).
Sorry, i love Japan, i hate the far left and far right politics of the west, but people need to stop making this ignorant claim. Japan is a relatively safe country if you are just chilling in the neighborhood and living a normal life, but due to the culture and a broken court system, crimes are way under-reported because victims will simple not speak up as it's a cultural norm to not disturb the community's peace (such as with train molesters, which is not an uncommon experience for teenage girls to have), and on top of that, courts and criminal investigators will try to highly favor cases that they can win and dismiss others, and will sometimes force fake convictions/confessions, which is why Ace's Attorney is a satire of Japan's court and the "guilty until proven innocent" approach they tend to have. Crimes that cannot be solved easily if at all will simply not be reported and officially accounted for in statistics in most cases. They artificially manipulate their statistics to look good, sometimes intentionally, sometimes not, when they really are not that much better than the rest, if not worse in some aspects. That being said, the prawn, while it has a negative impact on some people's perception of relationships and encourage unhealthy/dangerous/malicious behaviours (which requires for the person to not be very healthy in their mind in the first place), it is very obvious that the freedom people have toward creating prawn is mostly beneficial, and does not cause any kind of significant increase in crime. But that's mostly for fictional prawn. Otherwise, the japanese adult movie industry can get extremely exploitative, if not downright abusive or criminal toward the actors, and "actors", that can be more or less willing to participate. It's not unheard of that a woman can be unfortunate enough to be forced, pressures, blackmailed or whatever into doing extremely degrading, abusive or traumatizing prawn, sometimes even with the approval or indifference of the parents for the sake of getting out of debts. Worse even, sometimes it happens to underraged women. It's also worth noting that while violent crimes are rare in japan, sexual crimes and other kind of crimes are much more common and under-reported. On top of that, it's too often that people who come report a crime or file a complaint are not taken seriously, or actively bullied out of it. Japan's crime statistics are highly skewed, as are the statistics regarding people who are at the bottom of the social ladder.
@@Dice-Zi don’t think you understand AV issues here. it is not a crime. you sound like some lefty from USA in japan, trying to impose your values onto japan. not gonna happen. you ignore the rights of girls who willingly work in sex industry. i know many of them. i agree japanese government tends to forge numbers, but just look and compare cities. you actually think tokyo is dangerous?

Social media needs to use ai to create a feature that allows you to mass block certain groups of people based on personality traits that can be determined from their posts. For example, people who are extremely obnoxious and repeatedly post negative comments would be classified into a particular keyword that can be used to mass block all users who have the same trait.
