Yes this is much more friendly than my tow hauler lol. That didn’t fit the family vision so I moved to a 5th. And yes the storage is great. And plenty of room for most anything you need for short or long trips. And yessss!!! The outside kitchen is bomb. I added a couple things to it. But I ditched the capital grill. Had one years ago and its a paper weight. So now I’m deciding to leave it empty as another drawer or maybe a 2 burner stove. Idk yet. I also modified the rear storage area, and opened the whole thing up like the 2022 unit. Behind the wall it’s completely open. So much added space and now my black stone slides right in there with enough room for a easy up if i need it. Plus my chairs and fire pit. 👍🏼

Awesome so far even though I have only got a few uses out of it since it’s been a busy and pretty darn cold winter. But will be headed soon, and I already have mods done with more coming!! 😀👍🏼

Lol if I run the main fridge and the two ac units that’s about 2650-2750 watts but off course they all click on and off. Assuming batteries are charged I don’t run my converter really as solar takes care of that. But everything is getting revamped as the generator is gone and other items will be there.

@JOHNNY'S WEEKENDS Would be cool to see a comparison between the minimium generator (2kw?) when paired with a 2-3kw LF inverter (6 kw surge) and an EG4 'chargeverter' VERSUS just a large generator that can cover everything by itself under normal use even at elevation (4-5kw?) - price/efficiency/etc.

Yea Ill be trying a few different set ups through the year. At least that’s the plan. Only thing with Eg4 and other charger/inverters is that the start up voltage is normally much higher so takes more to kick them on verses power stations and other setups can take advantage of maybe a 20volt turn on. But i will be looking for those options and some 48V battery setups. 2 server rack batts would be a nice setup. But will see what i can find that will work. 👍🏼

😂 it didn’t fit the life style anymore. Thought it would since we loved our old toy hauler years ago but we decided we were not doing the toy thing and wanted storage back. Dude the outside kitchen on this is awesome 😀👍🏼

Hey Johnny, we are looking at purchasing the 29g. My main concern is towing it. I do have a 2500 ram long bed. I understand towing is work, but I don't like driving with white knuckles for 8 hours either. lol Can you provide any insight on how it towed? Or really any info on what made you make the switch. Thanks, Matt

Main reason for switch was not hauling toys besides bikes and honestly the folding bed is not comfy at all. Even after some foam and more. It’s helped for sure but after a 3 night you won’t want to be in it anymore. Plus if traveling and staying somewhere that slide has to come out like at a truck stop. That’s no good. Towing empty or light no issues. Towing heavy you feel it. And need the appropriate wdh for sure. I towed it with out a wdh from Arizona to far nor cal with no wdh but also pretty empty and total of 3 people. That is when I bought it and it was windy as hell. I’ve been towing for years so not scared of much but know when things are dangerous and not good. Tow vehicle 2016 Chevy 4x4 crew diesel If I was to do it all over? I would probably buy something else due to issues I have learned about like the leaking rear door they say is normal or the rear awning that is very fragile. Bed room that is not comfy and very small bathroom sink and no storage. Kitchen was ok. But when going to a TT with a gaint outside kitchen and storage well, it’s hard to argue when I use that more. A 5th only adds to that pleasure of space. If not using it for toys then definitely do not buy.
