I'm betting Jailer will make Demon Seed lock a thing again. Fatigue procs on your turn, so you can Jailer on 10, especially if you have drawn some lifesteal minions, and progress the quest every turn guaranteed while having immune lifesteal minions keeping you healthy, and your opponent can't do anything because eventually you'll no longer take fatigue damage, and instead they will.

the problem with it costing exactly 5 mana is that against big priest specifically it only works on exactly turn 5 (or 4 with the coin) and only if the priest hasn't reduced essence's cost with illuminate/palm reading, it's just not worth it, altough it might still be run in some very specific decks that struggle with big priest AND could have a decent use for a 99% guaranteed 5 mana Neptulon

Yeah 3 mana would be too good, 4 ok but since it's a toxic card I'm glad it's 5. We already Mutanus and Theotar.

I just wish he would actually say it in the review lol, but I understand he doesn't want to upset blizz

@@DinoDisguised immune minions can still die to random, full board, and untargeted destroy, and can be affected by random/full board/untargeted bounce, transform, and silence effects. An immune hero can also be killed by Mech'thun or quest shard, because those don't have to target the opponent. There are some decks that run none of these, but between Mech'thun Warlock, devolve/revolve in shaman, silence shard in priest, gigafin in warlock, poison seeds in druid, Vanish in Rogue, Kazakus potions, numerous chances with disruption cards like the dirty rat/theotar/hecklebot/mutanus package and decks that just kill you before the jailer can come down (not just aggro either, Spectral Pillager Rogue and Time Warp Mage can kill turn 5/6, and they're combo decks), there are a ton of solutions that are *already in the wild meta* and that's discounting cards or decks that are borderline includes that would make it in if this deck became a problem. It would be meta-warping, if it somehow ends up getting mana cheated or maindecked in druid... maybe? There are just more broken things you could be doing in wild that can only be affected by the disruption package, work faster, and don't require you to play 10 cost cards from hand for a battlecry. but no, you don't instantly win on the spot. That's not how immune works, and since Turtle and Bolf aren't in standard, they don't matter

Yes but it takes it from your deck and not your hand. if you never draw the soulseeker then it literally doesn't affect you at all

@cookiedible since it's silence and destroy all your minions would probably get destroyed but I'm not too sure

@@noahnyul4069 I think destroy effects ignore immune effect since they are only immune to damage, so plague of death and pact of flames will kill the board.

@@cluelessmango768 Except that there is a chance it will be a good or very good card when you play it. It will always be bad when your opponent draws it if your deck is full of cards that are useless to another class/archetype. I'm not saying it's good, but it's not as bad as people are saying.

You can also disrupt combo/boss cards. It's a bit better than Trump is saying. Not exceptional, but better

@@OverlordMMM Against decks with few minions it's very consistent disruption which I don't think trump acknowledged. If you're vs. a Druid that doesn't really run many minions the you're very likely to hit Denathrius, Shrub etc. whereas gnomeferatu can easily be wasted on filler removal spells

Well, the other thing to note is that the Gnomeferatu card burn is less random since it is top of deck.

@@montyalb8788 the top card of your deck is basically a random card from your deck... If anything it's less random than Gnomeferatu because it only pulls minions

Well Soul Seeker will always change enemy minions while gnomeferatu can destroy spell and not removing card means they will have that 1 bad draw or they can play it and take away your win condition unless you have only spells.. Did Gnomeferatu came back in game with that dredge keyword. If your oponent didn't insta draw that card, you can just remove it with her.

@@connorm7915 Not anymore because of dredge. You can burn a card you opponent picked from their deck.

well gnomeferatu was a well stated minion you could play on curve, soul seeker will mostly get you some trash minion and you'll waste 5 mana for it.

With aggro you should know if you win or lose by turn 6-7. Ain't no way proper aggro, even with last options, goes to 10.

Another problem with it is that two thirds of the time you just pull out a blood, which doesn't really do anything because the opponent has another one anyways. Pulling a blood would really only be good if the opponent drew their other two minions.

Because of how bad the card is in other matchups I'd imagine going for Albatross would just be better, killing it yourself if you need to.

@@MrRightoYeah that makes a lot of sense, although for some reason I really thought they ran two bloods. I also don't think my reasoning was very good in the first place, as summoning a soul seeker instead of a blood or neptulon is a pretty good upside anyways. Still probably won't see play though.

Idk it has the potential to just brick certain combo decks. Like they don’t get their card anymore and best case scenario steal one of yours back

Mine too, it doesn't look fun at all, or you die before playing him, or you just win by letting your opponent without almost any option with a bunch of unkillable minions to deal with, what an awesome idea.

But the whole purpose of albatross was to shuffle TWO useless cards into your opponent's deck which disrupted highlander

@@enricotirta5549 sure, but it was also played just to give the opponent two dead draws, before it was nerfed

yeah, not so bad as everyone is thinking, your opponent just have to have a very small selection of card in his deck, and not have used them before. maybe 2 of them, if you have malganis and the other defensive card seens balanced guys, its not hard to achieve or meta warping at all

To add onto this, Immune minions cant taunt

too specific to be worth a deck slot, maybe in control shaman with 40 cards? iirc you run denathrius famished fool devourer and new sylvanas, I play the tempo version so idk if control has other infuse cards

The fact that it potentially multiplies infusion by an insane amount makes it at least worth keeping in mind for the next few years

I think she's on par with Crabatoa which isn't in every Rogue deck. She's powerful but not every deck wants 6 mana removal with no synergy.

It’s better than a custom card. Most of them aren’t nearly as creative or good.

as long as your jade are high then yes i guess, remeber you cant anymore destroy your own minions as well. Which might sounds weird but it's kinda limiting the Jailer.

make it 11 mana of course, then only druid can use it without Thaurissan so it's fair.

They'd change its effect to "Your immune minions have +2 attack"

Feels like overkill at that point though
