New S&W 327 WR: Jerry Miculek's World Record 9mm 8 Shot Revolver 

My wife told me to clean up the dog poo. I watched honest outlaw instead and she stepped in poo. No new guns for me for awhile. 😢

Jerry set the record from the draw out of the holster. His 1st run was world record, second run world record, 3rd run smoking world record, 1.88 seconds from holster on target 6 shots "Get Some!"

When I first started shooting on the range Jerry owns, I’d hear him on the private part of the range and just stand in awe as he ripped off cylinder after cylinder of revolver rounds on plate racks. Over the years I’ve gotten to know him and his family and I can honestly say, they are great people! Ms Kay and Ms Lena always take the time to chat with folks at the range and so does Jerry. Very down to earth people. I’ve been fortunate to be around the Clark and Miculek families for 30 years or so.

JM is an absolute legend. A awesome freak of nature. Nothing he can’t shoot and shoot well. Like you I have looked up to him for years 👍

My draw time is slower than his record. I have to work on that. And I just checked. He did it from the holster. Yes, the trigger is amazing. I tried the trigger at the NRA show.

When Jerry was born, he flew across the room, and landed, perfectly, in the wash tub. He has hit every target, ever since.

I have the S&W 986 and it is my FAVORITE range toy. First time I handled and shot one, I was hooked. May have to copy that case for it. The whole moon-clip thing is kinda a pain. I preload 20 for the range and it takes time to clear them out.

If you love revolvers (guilty here), this is a dream gun. Too expensive for my budget, but do I want it? Absolutely.

That may be but this full sized thing (as you put it) would be really cool with 10 rounds of 327.

I'm really liking the updated vortex defender red dots. The initial release ones, that everyone got a review out for a year ago, are pretty bad. But they fixed all of the problems, except for the shorter battery life, but it's still expected to last a year, which is everyone's battery replacement schedule.

It's definitely not for me at that price, but no denying how cool that thing is. Jerry is the man.

It's not just the trigger finger. JM has the grip of a Titan and the recoil control to go with it.

Enjoy your reviews, very informative. I have an idea for a video. Underrated guns due to capacity for those of us that live in restricted states.

Just a small point. But it's important. The gun still has a hammer. Otherwise the cartridges wouldn't fire. The hammer just doesn't have a spur. If you watch carefully, you'll notice that the hammer has a really short throw. It looks like your left thumb gets in the way of your trigger finger. True. The titanium cylinder helps with the trigger pull. When you pull on a revolver trigger in double action, part of that effort is in pushing the hand, that rotates the cyliinder. The cylinder has inertia. Titanium being lighter than steel, the titanium cylinder has less inertia. Therefore, the trigger finger has to exert a lower force. All in all, a well designed revolver to set a world record.

Everyone keeps saying 1.88sec with a revolver. This is 1.88 from low ready. This is 1.88 from the draw. Sure it's from an open division holster but a holster none the less. I would be thrilled with a 1.88 from the draw and only hit 2 targets

It is a revolver I would love to have. I already have a 625 performance center but that is in 45. Unfortunately S&W decided that they do not want to make this a performance center option. At the MSRP price it's out of my reach.
