I remember seeing the video when he first came in - I honestly don’t know how he could walk at all with that callous! I’ve never seen a callous like that before! So nice to him with his new shoes! And thank you for sharing the “unboxing” of his new shoes! I can tell this has made all the difference in his life!

This just shows how important the work you do actually is. As soon as he put those shoes on he couldn’t believe it. I’ve always been a big one for looking after my feet, my daughter’s feet, the feet of ex boyfriends and my current one too. I tell them that at the end of the day your feet have to hold you up for your whole life, you should look after them. And nowadays everyone is pushing to look after your own health, diets, etc etc. But everyone still forgets about feet. Everyone needs to remember that without feet they’re not going to go anywhere. Xx Edit: I just saw the first video. I can’t believe it took this man (well, his wife) to push for a third opinion before they found you. The fact he saw a podiatrist 3 weeks before seeing you but all they did was cut his nails is unbelievable. Thank god he found you. Xx

I live in Canada. People with diabetes with foot issues go to the diabetic foot clinic. They come in every few weeks to get their nails cut, wounds dealt with, etc. sounds similar to the programs in the US. I hope this gentleman comes in for regular care to keep ahead of any issues. Preventative care can make SUCH a huge difference!

I've been BEGGING my reg doc, pain doc, and ESPECIALLY my rheumatologist to do something about my feet for YEARS! I even took my shoes and socks off and MADE them look at my messed up feet! They said "Yeah.. It goes with your Rheumatoid.." Well DUH🙄 can I get TREATMENT? I have Medi/Medi, and they won't even get my infusions going (been waiting a YEAR😢) Glad they have YOU in D.C.👍🏻🙏🏻🌞
