The only issue I can see from updating the older event towers is that tons of people are gonna whine about it since they don’t have the tower “This update sucked!!! Sure they buffed old event towers but I don’t have them so it sucks!! Bad update!!!
Event towers are not supposed to be in meta, is basically makes u struggle more cuz u dont have de op dopy super event towwer of 5 years ago, makin event towers go brr in meta

Look, there is a difference between META and VIABLE, meta is when you have one of the best, strongest towers used often for beating maps, everyone uses it because its part of the current meta, its the best to use at that time. VIABLE is when the tower is still able to be effectively used within a game. Anything non-viable is almost completely useless. Viable means they can be involved and of importance in strategies for beating games. Non-viable towers are often throwaways that would barely make a difference in their absence. The best way to have event towers work is to make them viable in unique and fun ways. They can be involved within effective strategies and be of importance in a unique and cool way to make them fun. One among the largest problems of TDS is that the game is super meta reliant right now, there is always a BETTER tower. In the best case scenario, there are multiple viable towers that can be used in different ways for a successful outcome. In events and special maps, this changes, sure, but in the main game and in hardcore, this should be the case.
The thing I love about this update it that they did make these towers stronger with increased price. This adds more depth to the towers making them actually fun to play with. The mortar buff doesn't feel really good and yes that animation it a total exaggeration. I think that they there are alot of towers which still need a buff including most of the event towers. They should do the same thing and add more depth to all other towers by increasing the damage and price.
@@QUBIQUBED he's expensive as hell already but the frag bombs could be cool, basically he can be good against really tanky, but slow enemies. while the speedy ones are still possible to get away from him. sadly we already got the update so its too late
The helicopter actually got a much bigger buff than you think. starting before: 1 damage per shot, 0.25 fire rate, hidden detection at max lvl Starting after: 2 damage per shot, 0.1 fire rate (2.5 times faster), and hidden detection at lvl 3/5
3 ideas for buffing mortar: 1. buff splash radius 2. some sort of shrapnel from shells/nukes 3. shells/nukes leave behind a burn/radiation zone that damages zombies that walk in them
Thanks to John Roblox's incredible video showcasing these buffs, I'm now inspired to use Rocketeer more often in Roblox Tower Defense Simulator. Pursuing the golden soldier and electro buffs is tempting, but I'm definitely prioritizing the Mortar and Pursuit Tower now that they've been buffed. I want to extend my gratitude to Below, Raz, and the entire team for this amazing update!
Well this is a huge update for some people even for me i like rocketeer mortar snd pursuit so Seeing this really makes me now to wait the freezer rework or just the update for him (it would be cool if mortar got a model chancr lol)

Let me tell you some. We’re def getting more hardcore strats with mortar and rocket since Lead damage. Also u think they are going to use in some events like solar eclipse
pursuit is now the better accel cause if you multiple accel avg dps by 8(placement limit)you well get 1666.64 if you multiple pursuit dps by 10(placement limit) you well get 1875 and its cheaper so yeah and early levels are kinda better to but remember that pursuit lets a tank leak because there are slow boss on the way.....
I feel like rocketeer is now an OP tower, you just place it in a square path so that the death zone doesn't really affect the range then you're done, you have a literal bomb.
Rocketeer and electro got a pretty good buff, max electro being able to kill a fallen and probably chain flying enemies is really strong sucks he can't detect hiddens now, rocketeer getting a dmg buff is great sucks that he can't fire most of the time because of danger close but it's all good.
it's cool that they buffed these towers, but i just hope they make it so that events don't need strats anymore, it ruins the fun when trying to win an event and instead of trying your own combinations and see what works you just search for a strat online that is strict as hell
it's cause the mortar will attack longer cause it has about the range of a sniper no blind spot and 8 more splash radius making the mortar a better chipper tower against things like giant bosses while dealing heavy dps to the enemy it originally fired at while rocketeer doe 14 more dps and makes it slightly it's better for more boss like enemies warden, necro boss, etc. when set to strong but in return is a worst chipper also mortars splash is bugged
I remember getting militant bc I thought it was soldier bc I was grinding for outlaw at a low lvl of 8... I got ranger at 37 and soldier after I realised I still didn't have it at lvl 63 so I bought it for some stupid reason
Rocketeer, the dead zone is realistic. All rocket launchers has a range that prevents the rocket from exploding (arming range) Edit: same as artillery. Artillery has a range (very far realistically) it cannot be really close to enemies.
paradoxum games is the best developer team because instead of nerfing the op towers he buffed the bad ones (but im still in disagree with the accell nerf cause it was too massive).
Shocker is not being looked at enough it’s amazing. It does does splash damage and it’s cheap as hell. So basically early defense is ez with this except lvl 3 is better than 4 so Yea…
the reason why mortar has less dps then rockeeter which may sound stupid but because mortar has way higher splash range more than double rockeeter with higher range and stun immunity that is why it is lower cost than rockeeter
Rocketeer might only be good early also probably not good mid game, not worth the price if u have something like accel when rocketeers max is 18k also I feel like rocketeer could be better if its max could see flying or making it a hill tower. Mortars first 4 upgrades could be good 5th upgrade is expensive and it has massive splash but I think it could be better. electro shocker is finally kind of mid instead of just downright horrible. pursuit is cool I've barely used it every but it gets bonus points cuz Heli pilot from btd6. golden soldier is cool I guess I mean its worse than golden scout is also just a better start. ( all of them out of ten rocketeer 8/10 mortar 6/10 electro shocker 5/10 pursuit 9/10 golden soldier is 6/10)
mortal will be godly for hardcore grinding the others also got decent buff but MAN g soldier is now officially better than g scout compared thier dps in every lvl g soldier beats em now YESSIR
