😲lol Oh my Admiral.. love the ship.. gosh MSR does amazing ships.. gosh.. love the style so different ..the warp vents I think on the saucer glow blue, love that wow.. also many impulse engines hmm nice.. 🤔😄You use the cloak well. just the button sticks often... lol.. I think Archer and Trip would LOVE to have this ship gosh lol eeh.. gosh.. I still love the ship and has similar to the Orville.. front of modified Intrepid.. hmm .. yes bloody battle for sure.. Still well done!!!😊🖖
HAHA, yes, that's it exactly, it's the button! It does look like the Orville. This ship is quite old though, I almost wonder if it was made before the Orville 🖖
@@RetroBadgerGaming Lol 😂yes the cloak button sticks so much gosh lol. Yes, I would think so, The Orville, one thing love about that ship , the Quantum drive eeh.. the Excelsior C, does looks wicked though.. I like it.. 🖖
A Halo mod was in development years back, though I want to say licensing/ rights caused it to stall out. An Orvill mod was teased a while back, not sure if anyone is working on it
Interesting looking ship. Looks like bit what The Orville universe ships looks like but that also looks like Kunai knife. But thanks to video great job. 👍
Awesome video, I was hoping we could talk about making RU-vid videos. I'm going to be starting streaming and RU-vid, and I'm reaching out for advice. Sorry for asking here, but I wasn't sure where else to
I always thought the cloaking device was a strange think for klingons. Not so much for their ships to be equipped with since they've no doubt had to combat cardassians but for them to frequently use in battle with other species. They claim hiding is cowardly but then they hide like cowards whenever they're getting their butts kicked. I kind of like the shape of this ship but I'd like to see it with oblative armor (if that's the right term)
I like the ship except for the crossbar across the back of the nacelles. That is just dreadful. It really gives the ship an unbalanced look, not to mention offering a particularly vulnerable point on the ship to land a critical hit. Not my cup of tea, sadly.
@@MSR-1701 Oh it would be epic. Both the Ent-C and Resurrection each alone can give the Excel II a bloody nose, but in the end both fall. Combine both, who knows.
I dunno about an Excelsior-C....well it could be an Akira 3.0. Also looks a bit like the Orville. Maybe put 2 of these up against an Excelsior 2.0. Might be easier to defeat it. You almost had a victory after you got through the Excelsior 2.0's armor...but it was a short lived one.
What really nags at me is that we have 0 comparative analysis of how the Excelsior II is supposed to actually perform... so its capabilities here are nothing more than a guess really. We know that SF should really max out their ship's defensive and offensive capabilities (despite being primarily designed for exploration since high capacity systems can aid the crew in resisting and escaping anomalies or other stellar phenomena too and it leaves them better prepared for unintended combat which can still be there as a last resort as usual)... but we also know from canon that SF frequently doesn't do this. The Titan - A was a pitiful ship at best. When LaForge described it to Shaw, it seemed like he poopooed it from stem to stern. That actually goes more to show SF negligence rather than anything else. While higher emphasis on defensive and offensive capabilities isn't always needed in peace time, as I said there's nothing wrong in HAVING those systems as an extra precaution than not... and like I said, there are other uses of these systems even in peace time.
You could have taken the Excelsior II, but again, missed 3 times you turned right into their main forward arc when you could have turned away and given yourself another 1-2 minutes of battle time. Watch the nose of the opposing ship and that will give you the biggest clue of which way to turn (or NOT turn).
0:56 Is that ship green? It honestly makes it look like a Romulan variant. 7:33 Let's put it like this, I'd worry about dropping a physical miniature of it.
The original model was dubbed Excelsior C by the creator (and there is an Excelsior D releases years back as a mod). And there *IS* an Excelsior B in BC, a Sovereign Class by Captain Russell (both as a normal sov and a God Ship variant)
congratulations, you've just been introduced to Atlom. these are the last of the empties saved from the bin of "servers recycled for advert space". and this thing's been sitting empty for mabey 15 years or even nearly 20.
Using txt to edit some files i don't remember but if you reforce Shield's in teory do you rave one runabout destroing tactical cube 😅 ship's made for remastered mod is the best to edit this parameters 😮
If this made an appearance in (STAR TREK) shows someday; I imagine the new (USS EXCELSIOR C) spaceship, is made in the far distant future, in the year5024.
Ship? It doesn't remind me of a ship. It reminds me of a Klingon hand weapon! The part at the back, that's the handle. It's an.... excel'kleth! Seriously though, this is not a starfleet design. Despite the arrowhead primary hull... Change the color scheme and it's obvious this is not a Starfleet vessel. All that said, it's always a delight to have any excuse to see The gorgeous excelsior 2 in action.
not a excelsior replacement, very under whelming to get the name, the fire arch is just too limiting, i would have called this a 27 th centry science vessel
Looks like you need to lift the bow up as the phaser banks seem to be tucked under the saucer section. You were pushing the nose down and it looked like you were losing phaser angle. Here I am commenting on this silly Trek sim. I must be becoming a Trekkie nerd…Yeah. Never warmed up to the other Star show that shamelessly stole from Trek and Dune….
Deeply disappointed, is way underpowered, and has really poor phaser hard points,it should have dominion partical weapons as well as Borg cutting beams
Easy, now that Star Trek is a woke feminist dumpster fire I am certain a single Klingon shuttle would smash a fleet of these Excelsior ships. Unfortunately when you know one of your crew members will break down crying at any moment like on STD then you are going to lose and lose badly.
It looks like a rip off of the Orville. The thumbnail gave the hint as in the video, the angles and shaping is straight Orville. Was STD (and the STUPID continuations with Captain Wannabe Pike) that much of a failure [disease] that they have to go this far?
