Highlights from the opening game of the 1992 Cricket World Cup between New Zealand and Australia. With NZ commentators. pixeltees.co.nz/products/100-...
David Boon made centuries in the first & 8th match that Aussies played against NZ & WI respectively. Ramiz Raja followed the same pattern & made centuries against WI & NZ in the 1st & 8th match Green shirts played. Both Australia & Pak lost first of the league matches but won their last. Amazing stats.
I agree. It’s arguably the best piece of fielding I’ve ever seen in my life. From side on, with one stump too aim for, he hits the wicket on the full from 35 yards out. Larsen doesn’t even try to catch it!
It was very difficult to beat NZ in 1992 world cup. Pakistan did it in semi final. Mark Greatbatch, opening Batsman of NZ, played really well. Man of the series was Martin Crowe if I am not mistaken.
I was reading the TV guide in the newspaper and saw this game was on so I watched it and immediately became a fan. I didn't really like watching cricket until then
@@IanGorton I assume so, more recognised commentators. Nevertheless, I quite enjoyed John Morrison and Peter Sharp, and I forgot how much I liked Henry Blofeld.
@@PrasadVignesh1982 hmm...I had seen a footage on RU-vid where Chris Harris ran out a batsman ,but it was very close...could have been out in modern times

@@sajjadkhan5347 eng vs pak match, pak 74 all out. Match was called off due to rain. Had England won that match, pak would have been out of the world cup.
@@subratagiri7057 Oh boo hoo. Get over it. India being the second and not the first one was only because Zimbabwe was in this World Cup to do what they do best in every other World Cup they’ve been a part of.
