They make what they wanna make. Their not worried about sticking to a genre which is great. They have such a wide range of sounds

I actually think this song was quite purposeful on their part, they're letting their fans know they'll continue to change directions going forward, they won't just be sitting on their laurels and do what's already worked for them. It's sort a new reinforcement of what they've always done, keep everyone guessing on what they might do next. By the way the orange color theme of the video might also be playing into this, as orange is the inverse of blue, as in Eternal Blue. It's also signaling their direction change. It's quite clever if they did it on purpose.

I’m happy with this EP huge fan of them since the single collection but damn I’m here for current SB! Still love EB album a lot but that was two year worth of writing and planning were with this EP it was written and made in three months
