I could actually be onboard with that or at least lean slightly that way. While I am definately one that still believes Jordan is the Goat and Pippen and Jordan was an unbelievable duo that you just don't see anymore as far playing both sides of the ball all-team defense and offense. People were saying Paul George and Kawi were the closest we have seen since them and they aren't even close to what Pippen and Jordan did. Having said that if we are talking unstoppable. I mean Shaq in his prime you absolutely couldn't be controlled. That with Kobe at his prime. Only thing that go in their way were their Ego's. That seems to be what Lebron and AD have going for themselves now as neither one seems to care who gets the credit. I mean Lebron will always get the lion share but they seem to play well together.

@@joranso2much No. You are comparing apples to oranges. Before KD joined, people were saying Klay and Steph were arguably the best duo in the league. They even nicknamed them the Splashbrothers. They also won a ring and reached the finals a second time without KD. Nobody was saying that about MJ and whoever else before Pippen joined and MJ wasn't even reaching the finals, let alone win a ring without Pippen.

@@cyrusnicca he played 3 years w/o Scottie in a bulls uniform (and I include year two with the foot injury because he was back for the playoffs). He also played w/o Scottie in Washington when Scottie was still winning playoff series in Portland and never even made the playoffs. So, no 5/13 years is like 40% of his career. Scottie, ironically had more success without jordan than jordan had w/o Scottie.

Jordan winning with Pippin will be more impressive than winning with Wade and AD (not even gonna mention Kyrie even though his 2016 performance was better than any of Pippins finals appearances).

So the MOST points and Assist duo (STockton Malone) cant be comparable to other duos? Because NO chip? This is WHY the chip argument is asinine. Malone scored the 2nd most points in NBA history and stockton had the MOST assists in NBA history (for NEARLY a DECADE) But NOPE! Lol AD could still become a top 10 player of alltime even though he did nothing before joining lebron but it all depends on what AD is able to do without him and without a type of player like lebron... Some believe AD has a chance to become the greatest power forward of alltime and he does have a chance but for some reason I don't think he will get there imo..he will have to surpass Duncan but I don't think it will happened imo but there's no doubt he will have dominating career if he's healthy..

The question isn't who had the best two players. The subject at hand is best duo and the answer is Jordan and Pippen. They won 6 rings in a 8 seasons. For one season Jordan was gone and for the other he only had 17 regular season games under his belt. Two 3peats and the most wins by a regular season team (72) by a team that went on to win the championship. They followed that up with 69 wins in 1997 and their fifth ring.

AD won 1st team all NBA in a league where there are very few dominant bigs left in the league. Kareem was in a league where the center position was featured on offense. Trying getting first-team all-NBA up against Ewing, Olajuwon, Moses Malone... It was very similar to the point guard position today. All-NBA teams probably not a good place to start in this debate.

Lol the top duos of alltime and I'm just naming duos without any numerical order Kobe and shaq MJ and pippen Magic and Kareem Larry and McHale Bill and cousy Lebron and wade Kobe and pau gasol Duncan and parker KD and steph Isiah Thomas and joe dumars which is duo that nobody talks enough about... To me lebron and AD has to do more to surpass some of these duos I just mentioned, lebron and AD have one title together but they obviously need more to win more titles in order to surpass some of these duos I just mentioned... malone and Stockton do not make this list because of championships, this is what this list is based on but they were still a sensational duo for sure, alltime greats...
