Martin has yet to prove himself in the top league. He never was fully massive and very shredded; he is barely separated enough and his overall conditioning looks somewhat on the soft side.

Walker is holding water, which is blurring him a bit. Walker’s legs are harder and more separated (at least in this shady light in Pittsburgh), but Nick certainly is holding some distention in his midsection. I’d assume that the depletion, load, and subsequent water loss will tighten both guys up, but if Nick can’t sharpen up and lose water it’s gonna be a tough sled to haul.

The last photo of them next to another makes nick look much better than he actually did, if you look closely you can tell he’s much closer to the camera, maybe even a foot closer which always makes you look bigger. So when an actual comp happens and he cant do that he’s gonna lose even worse.

Nick has added about 20 lbs since his last Olympia. Martin may have the best shape of any open competitor, he’s got that Diamond shape, he cannot get to big, maybe 10 -15 lbs up top. Most of the Top open competitors are flawed. In time Fitzwater can win the Olympia.

Nick is just too big. Once he loses his bubble double trouble, he's going to win the show, and if past track history means anything, he will. I think the structure of bodybuilding has changed as far as divisions go... But what happened to the Frank Zane's of bodybuilding? Where the smaller more dialed in guys can hang with the big dogs?
