Nickel Plate Road 765 - The Phoebe Snow 

Thanks for this great HD and high-quality sound! Just in case some viewers don't realize it, the first 10 min. are going E from Scranton to E Stroudsburg, the rest is coming back to Scranton.

I was on board for this trip, it was an amazing time and my first mainline steam excursion.

The only freight only route that 765 ran on in PA was the NS segment from near Bethlehem into the Lehigh Gorge, the rest was RBMN. I was on that excursion. NS stopped hosting 611 excursions after 2017 and 765 and 4501 excursions after 2015.

From 0:00 to right about 3:10, 765 sounds like someone's assaulting a washing machine, very unique sound! Won't get that with 844, 4449 or 3751! Nice video, I'm going to up your sub count to 12,549.

My dad and I chased the 765 on Saturday 5th of September!

All that's left is the 765 to run through the New River Gorge.

Great video of the 765. Although, I didn't see one car from the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. How can this be the Phoebe Snow? I think I saw some the Empire Builder mixed into the consist.

Hopefully whenever steam returns to Steamtown next year, hopefully it will be bigger and better.

Wish someone could inspire CSX to make & run a steam engine.

Highly disappointed... my dad and I were supposed to be on this excursion Sept 5th. DROVE 2.5HRS FROM DELAWARE SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS EXCURSION. I was treating my dad who's never been on the 765.Got pictures of it backing up to connect to the cars. Proceeded down the ramp. Some asshole said my dad and I needed wristbands to ride train. I told him I already purchased my tickets online. He said we still needed wristbands... LONG STORY SHORT, my dad and I MISSED THE EXCURSION DUE TO STANDING IN LINE FOR WRISTBANDS I NEVER NEEDED!!! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT ANYONE FROM FORT WAYNE TO SEE IF I CAN GET MY $250 BACK!!!!

Also, what steam locies are running at Steamtown now???
