I've slept on Nichole Scherzinger. Not that I didn't like her, I always enjoyed her in the Pussycat Dolls :) just didn't know she was so versatile. Great video!
Very informative video. From your description, yeah do what you want and don’t overly worry. I didn’t notice anything amiss but I think this is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I appreciate your insights on the vocals.
Hi Jennifer, first time listening to your reaction & I’m mightily impressed. Your musical knowledge is astounding & I love the way you critique the artists, & as such, I have subscribed to your Chanel. Being a professional voice coach & singer/entertainer, I have an absolute Gem for you. A young Soprano singer by the name of Amira Willighagen who won Holland’s Got Talent at the age of nine, without having a single singing lesson. She taught herself by watching the likes of Pavarotti on uTube. Since her win she has a vocal coach & has performed in 13 countries and sung in at least 5 languages. Many of her performances have been to a packed auditorium supported by a full orchestra and backup singers. She is a true Soprano, and unlike many young wannabe opera singers , Amira does not strain, regardless of the register, & she does so effortlessly, & never out of breath, & going from one register to another is seamless. I know this is a long post, but please bear with me. Listed below are 3 of Amira’s performances for your consideration. ... O Mio Babbino Caro at age 10. The world renown musician/conductor Andre Rieu invited Amira to sing at Maastricht to an audience of 15,000 people who gave her a standing ovation. ... Nella Fantasia at age 12. ( the concert performance is the one I chose) ... Gabriella’s Song at age 14. ( again the concert performance) There is not one single reactor that have not been blown away by her magnificent, powerful but Angelic voice, & many have stated she is an absolute prodigy. You come across as a down to earth person who I think would love to hear this young amazing singer, so I hope you can fit her into your busy schedule.
@@JenniferGlatzhofer Just loving your reactions Jennifer. Just wondering where the sensational Amira Willighagen is on your listing. I understand it’s only been a couple of weeks, so this is just a reminder. I’ve checked out her top ten uTube video views, & she has a staggering 320Million plus viewers. This alone speaks column for her ability & popularity. Hope to hear from you soon, cheers, Graeme
She has sung so many songs from musicals (movies and Broadway) and done them so strongly and so well. I have to wonder if Broadway or The West End would be a logical next career move for Ms. Scherzinger if she so desired. What do you think? Does she have the pipes to carry an entire musical?
She’s not interested. Andrew Lloyd Webber has been championing for her for so long now. She was supposed to do the Broadway revival of Cats after her successful stint on the West End but bailed. Her high-profile TV gigs just pay too much in comparison. It’s a shame cause she was an amazing Maureen in the Hollywood Bowl production of Rent in 2010. She still holds the best performance of Over the Moon for me.
Please give us reaction to adelways lay with the magic flute, from the voice kids Indonesia🇮🇩, She is only 9 years old with Opera singer voice, you must watch it. and of course no.1 trending on RU-vid Indonesia. NOW NOW NOW!!!
Please react to IMO the most soulful, emotional vocalist of my 62 years, Angelina Jordan. Her most recent single, Million Miles, was dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one.
You must check out Glennis Grace singing this song on AGT. Or when she does Whitney, probably the best Whitney singer there is.. And she is from The Nederlands :)
Great reaction. You should hear Morissette Amon sing this song. Doesn’t get any better. Of course any Song Morissette sings, pretty much doesn’t get any better. I’m surprised you haven’t reacted to her yet. You’ll probably double your subs if you do. Or try her own song it’s called Akin Ka Na Lang on the wish bus. Many believe she’s the best female singer on the planet. Last suggestion maybe try the song “And I Am Telling You” looking Forward to your next reaction.
Thanks for another great reaction. You might want to listen to a young Russian singer. Diana Ankudinova is 15 years old in this video, singing a cover of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game, giving it a more "tribal" sound. She's a contralto, even at the age of 15, and a commanding stage presence. She is performing on the Russian TV show You Are Super, a show for disadvantaged children to display their talents that they otherwise would not be able to. Diana (dee-ah-na) was abandoned by her abusive mother at the age 3 and placed in an orphanage, diagnosed with cognitive impairment. Her now adoptive mother had her enroll in singing lessons because her speaking was severely limited due to abuse and neglect. Her singing talent was immediately noticed and the rest, as they say, is history. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7jv-DQnf2UY.html
It's nice but it's not live so there's so much post-production edits and effects added to it. It's beautiful though, but I just wish she had a raw and live version. I'm sure she would just kill it, too :-)
I don’t love the exhales at the end of most of the phrases. Am I wrong? You know how female tennis players let out a gasp after each hit? She (and Loren Allred) do it at the end of a lot of phrases. Very dramatic. But could be used less which would’ve added to the drama.
Yes, the breath release at the end! Sometimes singers are unaware that they are doing it, but I think in this case it was a choice and effect for the song. I’m not a huge fan of it but appreciate why she’s doing it 😊
I think it’s just easier to breathe “on time” for the next phrase. Like you have a really deep breath for one phrase but you need to take a breath for the next phrase. Idk if that makes sense
