Why is it that no matter who the actress, when I see videos of this song being performed the comments say, "and she had a cold that day?" Is this a meme?
Holy CRAP!! WOWWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!! I had no clue she could do that as i have heard her before singing buttons with pussy cat dolls and wasn't to impressed. But she blew me away with this!!!
*Nicole Operazinger* jumped out that night! ✨ She's one vocalist who baffles me in terms of her technique; she can utilize impeccable technique that blesses your ears like she did here (mostly in Classical musical) & at times she use technique that makes you pray for her vocal cords (Sometimes in Pop, Soul etc.) *P.S.* Yep, she's classically trained 😊🌹 And that last sustained high note was an E6 (Quite high) 🌌 And 0:03 "Nicole Streiszinger" isn't that far; I'm sure she looked up to Barbra Streisand at one point.
I don't think near enough people realize how wonderful Nicole Scherzinger is. She sang "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," and it was incredible. Thanks for sharing this!
You should listen to Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess at the Classic BRIT Awards 2012 sing the Phantom of The Opera. They have such good chemistry and their voices are amazing.
I've seen Phantom twice on Broadway and was enthralled both time. I have watched this SOOOOO many times....the energy on the stage was phenomenal. I love Broadway.

If you like Scherzinger check out her performance of "Memory". She was nominated for an Olivier (England's Tony Award) for her performance of the song in the West End. She was in Cats there for awhile. She sings it at the awards event live. There's a RU-vid video. ANdrew Lloyd Webber said she is one the best singers he's ever seen.

For not being classically trained, Nichole showed very good technique. Even some classically trained opera sopranos have a difficult time hitting and sustaining those notes.
Singers lip the last part in the shows because they have to perform 8 times a week and it’s a vocally demanding role. This was just a one-off performance which is why it was live.
@Outdoorsman76 firstly, I have not said anything negative about her performance, Secondly I don't have to be a better singer to judge. it only requires listening and observation skills. How many coaches play football well? No even half a dozen.
