Legit I be smoking til it’s hard to breathe my lungs feel like a peanut, I stopped for 2 weeks and went straight back to it idk why I was just so bored sitting at home I needed something
@@shmitt8364your bored because your used to smoking with everything you do. So when u don’t smoke everything feels only half as fulfilling because your brain is used to thinking everything is better once you’ve smoked. Gotta unlearn that habit
@@FriendlyAC130Online I’m a month free off smoke now I don’t know why I commented this tbh but the hard days for me now is Sundays only day I feel super depressed
Craving is in the mind. And you don't need 3 months to know you don't want something. You must convince yourself from day 1 that your habit was worthless and void of any positives... After a week and the physical withdrawal subsides you are healed and go about your life
True but for me it was 10 Days after 15 years of chain-smoking 3 packs a day At day 50 -55 it was like the first week but it was my fault i went through a devorce so it was a dark time Now im clean 400 days and im going strong
Mostly. You do feel a bit of physical withdrawal and somehow you connect that feeling with lighting a cigarette, because that will stop that annoying feeling. It's better to never start. I picked up smoking again, after I quit. Now I want to quit again. It's a dumb habbit. The only thing that will stop that annoying feeling is picking up a sig, clug my lungs to feel better for an hour or so and repeat the cycle. Lol it's enough, today i will quit
I stopped vaping 4 days and 10 hours ago. I vaped for just over a year, I’ve quit cigs and gone to vaping and vice versa so many times. This is the first time having NOTHING. It is so so strange. I was getting through one of those lost Mary disposal vapes every day.. it was pretty much controlling my life, every time I moved I would check I got my vape.. go for a poop, check I got my vape.. it’s horrible. But, man is it nice to just leave the house and not have that horrible feeling like you’ve left something really important behind, i don’t feel shackled to vaping anymore. I was so ready to give up, I’ve just had to keep myself busy because when I do sit down to chill - occasionally I’ll have a split second where I go to grab my vape and it’s shit when I realise I don’t have one anymore.. but then I get over it. Good luck guys and gals
@@yoshisatoshi3206it’s so hard bro. you feel so sick. and it last for 1+ week maybe 3 weeks. you feel so angry sad and wanna rip ur hair out. i’m on day 3 and i’ve been puking and having pooped or can’t eat. i feel like shit
i relapsed today had a redbull midway thru it helped but only had one and its sunday so the stores are closed, fortunately ran outta pods, gonna start stock piling redbulls tmr wish u good luck too
@Tyler Frey weed fucks up your lungs tho. U can't overdose in it but it can still give you COPD, asthma, all kinds of bad shit. I use weed but u need to understand it has many setbacks. It's got 4 times the amount of tar compared to cigarettes as well.
@@fouadphysique I’m still going! At this point I think I get about 1 or 2 intense cravings a day. But it passes before I know. I keep focused on the health. I don’t want lung cancer or copd. How are you?
@N Gi great news! I am still in the dark phase. My sleeping schedule is very disturbed, and changing my routine after 15 years is not easy.. I am holding as I don't want to cough and have short breath anymore.
@@internet.money1820 You got this! I've surprisingly still been clean since I originally commented here. Big lifestyle change probably helped... Just remember how angry you are about not changing something in your life that you want to! It does get way easier. I hardly think about it at all anymore.
Thank you for posting all of this. You’ve seriously helped me tremendously in quitting. I’m now a few hours short of ten days of zero nicotine and feel no need to go back. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤
@@mmommo10 thank you. I’m responding to update incase anyone is looking into quitting. Two-three week mark was the worst. I didn’t have physical cravings but mood swings were unbearable. Now a month and some change, I feel pretty much 100% back to normal. It’s crazy what such an acceptable substance can do to your brain. Quitting is worth it. There is no reward for weakness. All glory to God.
I watched his videos when I was quitting vaping. That was 1 year ago. It’s all a mental game, the first three days are hell. I’d rather go through the pain of quitting now then having to tell my love ones I could have prevented this. You can quit 💪🏻
Today is my 4th day of quitting. I have feelings that I understand it's from the addiction. First of all, trouble with sleep. Following, yesterday I was really sad I couldn't smoke cigarettes anymore. Yet, I didn't smoke. I feel so bored now that I feel I have nothing to do during class breaks or something. So far, I've been controlling it. I also feel I miss it so much.
I quit about two weeks ago and decided to have a few drinks last night to reward myself since the worst seemed to be over. I then immediately spent maybe 6 hours walking the dogs and then pacing the garden while almost crying from the need for a cigarette and waiting desperately to sober up or go to sleep. Fun times.
Shit man :/ this really got me man understand the pacing feeling well :/ too well this shit is like crack at first we smoke for a quick buzz eventually we just smoke to feel normal looking forward to feeling normal without the need for some bs to trigger normal emotions
3 months? I feel like this number will scare people off. I'm almost at 3 months and there's a HUUUUGE difference between the type of "craving" now compared to those first 1-2 weeks. Now it's not even the same ballpark let alone the same sport. The internal talk after like 4-6 weeks is like "nicotine? nicotine help? lol no, nicotine make you feel worse. ok." Then I move on. if you can call that a craving then yeah I guess I still have them.
The truth Hurts Edit: i’m having such a hard time right now just hit one month no nicotine and my goodness I am having insane cravings! But watching this reassures me that it will be over soon. I know I’m like 11 months late to this video but it still helps.
@@MILlz0 a month is huge! Good job!once you come to terms with the fact that it just makes everything worse and start viewing it as a strictly self destructive habit with no upside it becomes easier. It's all about brain washing yourself out of that addiction talk that tells you you're depriving yourself of something. I did have less energy for a while after quitting but it all gets better and then you have more energy permanently without having to rely on nic to get rid of the withdrawals in the morning to feel like you're finally awake.
@@HansyPants184 Wow I didn’t think you would reply at all especially that fast. Thank you for your words, whoever you are. I’ll continue to push through. Live well.
If you are reading this: Im 2 months in, and you get craving spikes. they can last from 5 minutes up to hours. If you get bored, angry, tired, hungry, or well-fed, even when relaxing or annoyed you will get a spike. The reason is: these are moments when I would have gone for vape and had satisfaction. Driving and stopping for coffee, long drives, being alone. I haven't had one relapse, but I haven't quit either.
I hate when they say "Imagine struggling with the addiction forever" like bro, i started smoking 7 years ago, I loved every second of it. that ain't a threat
There’s two parts of the addiction, and you’re still psychologically addicted but probably not very physically dependent anymore. You need to teach yourself that vaping does NO good for you at all, it only relieves the stress and urge of nicotine cravings, just so you can feel like a normal person without the cravings
Everytime you crave it RU-vid all the health risks and the cancer stories from people in their 50s and doctor visits etc. It'll help you get off them ASAP. That's what's doing it for me. Day 9 here and I won't ever be going back these mental cravings are lightwork once you think of cravings as a parasite that's trying to trick you into vaping
Day 5 into quitting, after doing 20mg of nicotine for nearly 2 years, and I really didn't think I would quit! But I'll be honest, the side effects and withdrawals aren't fun, but they aren't going to kill you. Remind yourself why they are there, why they are happening, and it makes quitting so much fun even when you're feeling down! These 90 days will be easy for what is going to feel like a heavenly life ahead!
I fully just stopped and threw everything away its been about 7 months now and honestly i do feel like it would be nice to have that feeling of nicotine again but im denying myself to ever take that shit again. Im glad i quit on the spof and yeah all i really had when quitting was alot of fatigue/brain-fog type feeling but i feel back to normal again 100%
@@Bellaxo11try to avoid nicotine at all costs, I’m on day 4 no vape, I feel incredible but I’m also using good nutrients to help replace the bad habits. If you’re feeling a little antsy it’s prob anxiety kicking in. The best way to help rid of anxiety is drinking a berry fruit smoothie. Works like a boss. Also eat apples, bananas, and oranges. It really minimizes the withdrawals. I have nearly no vape or nicotine cravings.
I am almost 7 months free from nicotine. Its not been an easy fight at all, its a massive battle of the mind, because i miss the feelings that they brought on, but i dont miss acrually doing them. Something that has pushed me forward is reminding myself why i stopped and cleaned myself up. Something that has helped me personally, is going and working at the gym, and volunteering at a mental health facility. Im here to sya that if i can do it, so can you. Its not going to be a cake walk, its going to be one of the hardest battles you ever face, but i am proud to say that i am almost 7 months free of nicotine. Dont be afraid to use nicotine patches, nic gum, and other things to help reduce your cravings. But be careful to not use them as a crutch, because that can also lead back to square one of your addiction that your trying to kill.
11 days since I quit chewing gutkha , there's no craving for gutkha , just i have physical issues , like low fever , nose running , little chest pain and feeling little low . But I'm 100 % sure for success 😊😊.
Same i stopped Wednesday morning and I’m impressed how far I’ve gotten. Mimicking the motion helps and I’m actually more productive because I’m looking for dopamine in different ways. Keep reminding yourself that the cravings will pass
I went 2 months clean and relapsed due to being around so many people that vape and smoke, I felt amazing for those first few months, I literally had to force myself to start vaping even tho it made me sick to even smell it. But when I quit I eat like crazy. I need at least a week off work in order to battle this addiction and need to find new friends
We can all do it. It’s more than possible. Drinking does increase your urges. Its been less than a month for me and only time I get a strong enough urge to something about it is when I drink
6 days today foe me, cravings hit me now and then but fight them, distract I play guitar it helps so good.keep looking at the chemicals in cigarettes? Look at all the damage on RU-vid vids about lungs heart ect caused by smoking. I do that it soon stops my cravings?
Try nicotine patches. I couldn’t go a day without vaping but I tried the patch without hitting a vape and now I’m 11 days with no vape and I feel way better. I’ve been vaping everyday for 7 years now and I’ve finally quit
Quitting was sort of easy for me because the snuff I dipped started causing extreme allergic reactions. That meant going back to using tobacco wasn't an option.
I'm actually in the mixed mindset. I don't want to be struggling for the rest of my life on this. But I also don't want to struggle for 3 months to get off it. Because this would make it the 3rd time I'm quiting. I had different reason for starting again.
I wouldn’t have to keep struggling with this addiction if they could just make my lungs collapse already, just get it over with. Not here for a long time, or a good time apparently
I’m about 5 hours in and it already sucks. I’ve been hitting 50mg vapes everyday for like 4-5 years. But I’ve been smoking since I was about 10 years old on the regular. 7 I picked up my first cigarette. Absolutely insane. And then my dad just gave me cigarettes and shit like it was some reward like oh you’re doing good in school let’s go buy you a pack. Oh you cleaned you’re room today here’s a pack. Same thing with my pill addiction that I beat years agoy without help somehow. He had carpel tunnel surgery and got some hydros. And gave me the whole bottle thinking I was selling it at 14 no I took it to school and was literally snorting one after every period sometimes I just busted a line in class if nobody was paying attention. By the end of the day I couldn’t believe I was still walking. Thank god I decided to stop when he stopped getting them because with what I’ve done for nicotine (robbing stores for entire juul containers and cigarettes) I can only imagine what I would do for harder drugs.
How I remember it is, 3 days (very intense), 3 weeks (intense), 3 months (still think about it often but much easier), 3 years, (completely forgotten about it)
I’m on day 5 after smoking vapes for 4 years. The first 3 days were shitty but I believe it’s all in the mind I’ve been good since but I also want to stop consuming alcohol because that’s the only thing that makes me wanna hit a vape again
I stopped smoking and drinking alcohol and cafeïne for 2 months now. Now i can feel good for days in a row. For the last 15 years there was'nt one day i did'nt drink....i'm no heavy drinker but i drank 1liter beer a day, only for the last week i did'nt feel any cravings except wen i saw people drink on tv. It will take a long time i guess, but now i know it's worth it.
it's my 23rd day of quitting cigarettes but last three days were so tough for me, my cravings were like the same I felt on day 2-5 of quitting smoking and finally end up having a half cigarette. The possible trigger was looking at people smoking cigarettes around me and being overconfident that i have accomplished the task of quitting and spending time with the friends at the places where i used to smoke. any suggestions other than not to go to the places where i used to smoke?
It took me getting very sharp pains and hard to breathe at the age 25 before I decided to quit. It’s been only 4 days but I’m not regretting it I would rather take care of my body then to smoke that nasty shit again
Haven't even been vaping that long , keep reaching it for it tho 😆but Ik I wanna be more active 🏋🏽🏋🏽🤝TIME TOO FOCUS AND GIVE ALL THAT BS UP 🫵🏾🫵🏾🫵🏾CAN DO THE SAME 1st DAY FRIDAY NIGHT 5/25 4:02
It's my third day, and I feel like I have the worst cold ever. No amount of sleep is helping and I hit a car even though I was paying attention and now I'm frustrated.
@@charlesdolaya it was parked to the right of my gate and I turned right and i was waiting for a car to pass then i went and i rode the side of the car
Hey everyone, been vaping for quite some time now and I’m struggling to quit. Looking for some help/advice or best practices you guys may have used to help yourselves quit!
So I bought my first disposable 2 weeks ago and I finished it about and hour ago and I feel a very light craving. I don't want to buy another vape. Am I going to have the same things he described in this short?
Either I’m weird or the worst is yet to come because I’m on day 4 day 1 was bad day 2 was horrible day 3 was alright and now on day 4 I’m feeling fine so maybe it’s gonna get bad I don’t know but I used to smoke a lot so I’m suprised on hm easier it is then the first time
Think this way - 1 day then 2 days then 3 days then boom youre clean , and then after 3 days go for 1 week then after that boom its basically gone after 3 days just stop counting and do it boom ,
Hello sir, im Thomas from the Philippines just want to ask does nicotine can break a person's fast? I mean cuz I'm doing Intermittent fasting thank you and more power
