I feel bad that he had to push his friends to try to start a band with him, I know how he feels because no one wants to play this kind of music where I live. I'm glad Krist said yes to playing with him because Kurt just wanted to play so badly, otherwise he would have been bored and we would have never had his music.
Tell me about it bro Kurt and Krist friendship is beautiful they just really connected and I really hope you keep going for whatever sound you are going for and you find just as cool people to play with I myself write and play alone so you’re not alone best bet might be looking for cool people to meet from off the internet and hope a friendship grows from there I think friendship comes first then the music will feel more true and fun
The young generation is gonna have to come out with some real organic music. Kids need to rock again and make some cool noise. Maybe I'm just an old fogey tho?

It’s just sad how early it all just ended. Especially hearing Kurt talk about experimenting like what the Beatles did, which were a huge influence on him so to hear the nirvana equivalent to something like peppers would be insane to think about. They were just at the beginning!
@@amixofeverything I don't think they should be held responsible for, NickelBack, Creed, etc. Mainly because it is the other bands that are at fault for being uncreative not Kurt, Dave, 'n' Krist.
I wish someone asked the band “have you ever thought/come up with a name you’d rather be called other than nirvana?” I always wonder if bands actually like their names after a long period of time or if they just keep it because everyone knows them by it.
I recorded this interview on vhs and revinded all the time and dreaming... will I have a chance to watch all of those live performances, interviews etc. Now we have RU-vid and I'm suprised there is so much nirvana videos, and someone still put new videos hell I know from where undigged .LOL !!!
Na verdade esse vídeo é de um programa da Mtv chamado "Present Past and Future", que conta a trajetória de várias bandas e músicos com previsões dos próprios sobre o futuro das suas carreiras. O mais interessante é que o epsódio com o Nirvana foi feito um ano antes de Kurt Morrer. É impressionante ver Christ, Dave e principalmente o Kurt falando do futuro que eles previam para o Nirvana, sem saber que um ano depois desse epsódio Kurt morreria, e...a história todo mundo já sabe. Eu tenho esse vídeo gravado em algum fita minha que eu gravei na época, mas ve-lo novamente foi D+!!!...Contém depoimentos raríssimos!!!...e mostra como era realmente a vibe da banda, a o contrário do que as pessoa que conheceram o Nirvana somente após a morte de Kurt, eles não eram depressivos e revoltados, eram parceiros e bem engraçados!.... Legal ter postado, man!!....esse conteúdo acrescenta bastante informação para os novos fãn de Nirvana.
Cara, eu vi isso nas madrugadas da mtv, nas insônias..... Lembro q vi um especial dos mamonas na estrada e logo depois esse programa aí, era tipo 1998 e td isso ainda era muito recente. Eu ficava muito puto de bandas fodas já não existirem mais.
I love how buzz just straight hated on them even though kurt looked up to them to the point of idolization and even produced their album, allowed the melvins to tour with him and allowed them a massive platform to gain new fans and buzz is just mad that the kid who used to roadie for him and his band, became insanely famous and surpassed buzz and his band success wise. But he doesn't acknowledge the way that happened which was Kurt, Krists and Daves display of pure 100% raw talent. Kurt never claimed to be better than any of these bands that he looked up to and gave credit where credit was due and never tooted his own horn. Says alot about Buzz's character. And its only buzz too. Dale doesn't talk shit at all in fact the complete opposite.
I'm pretty sure he was being tongue in cheek. Often close friends give each other jabs in the ribs because it's obvious it's not to be taken literally.

Kind of amazing that nobody has made a film of Nirvana's.."life". Same for the Beatles and Stones. Just the soundtrack alone would make the movie a profit.

Já tinha visto partes dessa entrevista. Me lembro do Kurt falando de drogas,suicídio,e sobre suas dores estomacais.Tem até uma parte em que a Courtney entra com a Frances pelada no set do estúdio. Tentando alimentar a pequena Frances com uma espécie de um achocolatado.Mais mesmo com um esforço do Kurt,a Frances rejeitou totalmente!! Parabéns por postarem!!

I was born 1983...I grew up watching mtv in the 1990s...I remember when nirvana nevermind cameout I was 8 years old there was something in the air it was a special time...I use 2 wear a flanel with a chain wallet..91 92 93 94 were the last years for great music my opinion..After kurt died KORN was the band who kept rock going...Korns first album came out 94..
krist should of joined dave in the foo fighters that would of been cool miss you kurt it's been 24 yrs and next year will officially be 25 yes i said 25 yrs since you were murdered yes i said murdered courtney knows what she did.....
i don't agree with krist and Dave being in the same band, would've been to hard and the nirvana comparisons and questions would've been endless, he was definitely murdered though, so obvious
Krist ou Chris, ambos estão certos. Ele usou os dois nomes. Acho que inicialmente ele assinava Chris (nome americano),e depois mudou para Krist(nome croata). Acho que ele quis preservar as suas origens croatas.
