I did an Egr/vacuum delete in my 97 Nissan Hardbody, after putting headers on it, in idle the RPM’s bounce from 1500-2k constantly .. it’s really embarrassing at stop lights 😅 it’s a Ka24e , any ideas?
Yeah, it's a KA24e engine. It was DESIGNED to work with its EGR valve. Just leave them alone (On the other hand, since I live in WA State where there is no longer any emissions testing [yeay!], if someone were to ever steal my catalytic converter, I would just patch across with a piece of flexible replacement exhaust pipe).
@@erwin643Just for the shits and giggles of having more space in the bay, that's about it. Nominal gains. But, if you are like me, and the egr cans are rotted out and the lines are all leaking, and the egr valves are gummed (32 years since the factory build) up and not functioning, would you replace it, all of that crap, or just start disassembling it until there is a big pile of shit on the road and enough space in the engine bay to curl up and have a nap in. Maybe it's just me, but that shits the fun shit. I love demolishing Nissan's design and proving them to be full of shitl.
(1:00) Opens the air cleaner from Mars as if it's normal or something (2:47) '...three vacuum lines that come off the throttle body...' (4:55) "...the only other line you're going to run...' (5:23) '...this is your maf... your tps..' WE ALL WANT TO KNOW WHERE THAT AIR CLEANER TOP IS FROM, IS THAT AUSSIE STANDARD ISSUE OR WHAT?
When you deleted the butterfly valves, did you fill in the pathway of the bar holding the valve wings with jb weld or did you leave the bar? I removed it and filled it in
