@4wdAdventurz yes I have a Mojave and love to see other use their recovery gear and knowledge and learn more. Lol I had to use my Mojave at work last night to winch out a truck that got stuck in a muddy ditch. Guy backed up to close to the ditch and just slide in. Called me for a rescue. Love it
Ok heres my comment. That was one of the most authentic episodes uploaded. Both rigs are awesome. I think with a bigger mud tire, the jeep will be a force to reckon with. Everybody is gonna get stuck, its just a matter of when. Plus if you never get stuck, you'll always win and thats no fun.
Yeah only reason I didn’t get stuck is because the gladiator went first on everything lol. If I went first I’d been stuck too hahaha. Thanks for watching buddy!
The tires you are running are mud tires in name only. Yeah, they are better than stock, but I wouldn't call them a mud tire, just a slightly more aggressive all terrain. But, to answer your question, boggers are a helluva good pulling tire, best DOT mud tire out there. I currently run an LTB, these pull almost as good as my boggers did and are a fraction of the price.
Pretty ingenious bringing a human dipstick with you! 😂 New to the channel and loving it out here in Cali. Headed out afterwards to get some mud on the Pro. Its actually raining. 🤔
Yeah, the locker might come first. Because if I buy a winch, then I have to buy a whole bumper. They don’t make brackets only for this generation frontier. And I’m not that handy of a guy to make my own. Lol
I respect that guy getting out with the waders every 3 minutes. Im far to lazy for all of that. As long as I have someone with me, I dont care about getting stuck. If it looks bad, I would just avoid it entirely. I dont off road in FL though.
I have learned the hard way so many times when I haven’t checked the depth of the water. Even a small puddle has ended up being almost 3 - 4 ft deep and I didn’t have a single idea
That black water is a Pita to get rid of from my gladiator… got stuck out there pushing my ruby when it had less than 60 miles on it… water was above the door line, had to pop the top and climb out🤣🤣🤣😅😅
@@4wdAdventurz those AT3s are pretty good. I hate how mud tires are amazing at mud and rocks but suck at everything else. Even my Ridge Grapplers (which are an RT tire) have decent grip, at best, on wet roads. I'm going up a size (37x12.5") when I need tires again but actually downgrading in aggressiveness to a KO2 C rated tire because my E rated Ridge Grapplers are so rough on the road and the grip is not the best in the rain. Those big lugs on mud tires look good on social media but as much as I'd like to think otherwise, I get out wheeling a dozen times a year, at best. So ATs are probably best for me. 😅
your truck looks way better than that gladiator. I have had jeeps so has my boy and they are capable but just a rickety uncomfortable ride and road noise loud
the jeepcant do any more then my lifted colorados zr2 get over your self I have a 1983 toyota 4x4 too so I know what diffrent 4x4s will do @@SanctumOfDreams
I honestly never drove the truck off-road 100% stock. I had Firestone destination MT2 tires put on within 10 days of owning it. And a 2 1/2 inch spacer lift within a month of owning it. If you watch some of my older videos you’ll get a better idea. Probably my overall favorite set up. Was a 2 1/2 inch spacer lift on mud tires. I felt like it went almost anywhere anywhere. I go now and was much more manageable for an everyday driver
Looks like the gladiator has wildpeak at3's on it. I know from experience that those tires are amazing on everything EXCEPT mud. They are racing slicks immediately upon touching anything thick enough to stick.
You’re 💯 correct about checking holes especially in Richloam. BTW do you have extended breathers for your diff? I’m having some installed on Saturday in Tampa. Just had no diff checked after going through water in Picayune Strand and was not happy with the results.
Worth doing the service check on the diff. Anytime you’re in water at the axel level water can get sucked in. Didn’t think about it until recently unfortunately. Kicking myself because the cost to install the kit is the same as the diff flush lol
I like that Nissan didn't over design the new Titan. It looks like a truck and the Jeep looks like a Jeep even the new ranger jist looks like a truck. The GM twins look like a space ship and the new Tacoma looks like they copied the colorado. If i was in the market for a compact truck I'd buy the Frontier.
I never thought about someone doing this but are you planning on the titan swap on the 6"? If you get that and end up with your locker and winch you will absolutely be King of The Frontier.
whats up man, have you considered running a trail without ur sway bars to see if that helps with ur flex/grip issue? or will that not work for you due to the 35s hitting?
