Nitro Engine Teardown! (After 4 Gallons) 

It has pinch when it’s cold but whenever I warm it up and start driving the pinch goes away. This is the first time the engine gave me problems and it could just be me over reacting

I also have a brand new piston and sleeve. The old sleeve isn’t going anywhere and doesn’t have a single scratch. I’ll send it out for a repinch.

Thanks, I usually only use heat to remove bearings. Thankfully no scratches on the sleeve but heat would of helped back then

It will do! Sleeve is in great condition and a pinch is all it needs. Also have to swap connecting rod but I have a spare.

Not a big deal. When I got the engine I bought all the parts for rebuild just in case. Everything costed 60 bucks too!

Not exact numbers matching parts but SH and LRP parts are exact fit into this engine.

Which sh and Lrp engine piston an sleeve will fit I have this same engine

Thanks. I have a leak on the bottom o ring on the carburetor. The top oring seals oil from leaking but i bet that’s where the air leak is.

Yeah. Sh .28 8 port sleeve is what I have to swap into but I’m gonna get sleeve repinched. Also the crank, connecting rod, one way bearing, backplate and piston are all the same in the Sh .28, Lrp .28 and Losi 454

Do You think I need new rear bearing?definitely need a rod. Unless you mean clutch bearings. Ill give it a go!

@@ShadowOppsRC I got it all under control now. Also turns out the crank was worn when I threw a new crank shaft in. I used a very old crank which was a mistake when I changed it to pull start.

I’ll be doing that. I was gonna throw it back together but your right as I shouldn’t risk damaging my crank and block.
