No Bake Kool-Aid Pie - This no-bake, cool, creamy, delicious, 3 ingredients creation is as easy as pie and perfect for summer. With endless flavor possibilities your family will never get tired of it and you can match the flavor to any occasion or taste. Have fun with this recipe all simmer and get creative. For Father's Day I made an orange Koolaid pie. This was ultra simple so I jazzed it up with a little orange zest in the filling, then added a layer of canned mandarin oranges in the bottom. I used a piping bag to make the Coolwhip on top look fancy then decorated with 6 mandarin orange pieces and 6 squares of an orange chocolate bar. I'm a good cook, but at first the family thought I bought the pie. Not only did I get a bunch of oohs, ahs, and compliments, the pie disappeared in a flash. Now my husband is murmuring about what other flavor of Koolaid he'd like me to try next! This was a great success. Thank you.

That sounds really good. Did putting the orang slices on the crust make it ‘soggy’ at all? How far ahead of time did you make it & let it sit before serving?

@@Pez2176 Actually, it didn't make it soggy. They were canned mandarin oranges and I drained them but didn't do much else to them. I baked the crust so that probably helped. I made the pie about half an hour before dinner - I don't have the patience or foresight to make desserts hours and hours ahead of time! Also, my kids and their friends are all pescatarians or vegetarians so we used non-gelatin jel (from a package and made with agar-agar I think). Now that it's summer I'll be making more pies like this.

I grew up on Kool aid. I’m 70 and I still like it. When I was little, my mom would let us have a glass of 7up with Sunday dinner as a treat. Other than that, it was milk and some Kool aid. I can’t wait to try this pie🙏🏻💜✝️

I've got to say. As soon as I saw Kool-Aid pie, I clicked. Nothing rings more true than Kool-Aid and grandkids!! I know they'd love it. Thanks, my dear! My sister introduced me to another no-bake pie, the yogurt pie. Mix 2 cups of your favorite fruit yogurt, a small container of CoolWhip, and some coordinating frozen fruit. Strawberry yogurt with frozen strawberries 🍓 works well. Thaw and drain the fruit before adding to your pie filling. Mix it all together and turn into a Graham cracker crust. Chill in the fridge for a couple hours and serve more cool whip and fruit as desired. Really tasty and so easy.

The wife and I have been enjoying these pies for some time, and have tried a number of flavors. Our favorites are black cherry and lemon-lime. The green lemon lime seems more lime than lemon, ad it makes a terrific pie! This flavor is rarely seen, at least in our area, aside from an Amish bulk food store just a few miles from us. If any of you can find this flavor, give it a try; I'm sure you will love it. BECKY: Great video, as always. Your recipes are great, your instructions are excellent, and your faith is uplifting for us all.

You don’t cook it to make these pies, you don’t want the sweetened condensed milk caramelized to make these pies, just like she showed you you just pour it out straight from the can. Your not making the same recipe, same recipe, good old common sense would tell you that, not trying to be rude. A different recipe might tell you something different. But, again this recipe she made didn’t call for the milk to be cooked, if it did she would have demonstrated that!

@@sonyafox3271 she meant if you open a can of sweetened condensed milk. Use a saucepan with water in bottom, like double broiling put open condensed can in sauce pan cook until it becomes Carmel. Use it as topping ice cream, brownies etc.

Yeah, the price has really gone up. Our local Edward’s Food Giant runs them on sale occasionally for 6 for $1.00. When that sale comes around I buy a good $8 worth. At 1 packet a week, that’d get me nearly a year supply!

This reminds me a lot of a recipe I learned from a Tammy Faye Messner video but instead of Kool-aid she used a thawed can of frozen lemonade and she added pineapple. I make that recipe withpink lemonade, mandarin orange segments and mini marshmallows and when you let it sit overnight in the fridge the marshmallows become super fluffy and melt in your mouth. Tastes like a lemon meringue pie.

Waaay better Tammy ingredients (frozen lemonade, pineapple, orange)than kool aid! Just avoid “flavors”, sugar in its many forms - 25gms per day women - kool aid 8 oz serving has 16gms!!, the BHT, Ascorbic, the Citric acid, the Calcium phos, the artificial chemical based flavor, the dyes, which can hide any number of dangerous mind numbing chemicals, … why mess with sugar and chemicals. health disaster can come in teeny tiny doses

Dear Becky, thank you, so much, for this video's Scripture. While I lost my husband of 42 years back 9 years ago but my daughter lost her husband of 22 years on the 15th of December this past year. This Scripture is definitely being sent to my daughter as it has been 6 months and this road is and will be very painful for a long time. Through the grace of God it gets better but never really good. Her faith is very strong so she's going to be okay in time. For me, the first 3 years were very hard but that first year was awful. I am so glad she and her husband had such strong faith. I think of and pray for you often. Thank you again for all of your recipes and especially for your witnessing. Here's another perfect new baked pie for you it's called peanut butter pie it is a half a cup of Jif peanut butter only half tub of Cool Whip tablespoon of clear vanilla and one block of soften cream cheese mix it all together and put it in a chocolate Oreo pie crust only and it is wonderful I made about nine of them in the last couple of months a lot of my clients are requesting them for the summer I even made two or three and you can freeze them up to a month and then after you saw them out a little bit I mix the rest of the Cool Whip a little bit of chocolate and peanut butter mixed and put it on top and then I put Oreo cookies full-size or minis for decoration let me know how you like it or make it on one of your videos I'll be so honored

@@osakarose5612 yes I think I bought it way before the recall plus I have not made any pie since then the recall thank you for your concern but I don't have a list of any of the recall numbers where can I get them I think my last bottle that I bought was from back in January and the beginning of last year as well

@@leek7987 no just take it out of the freezer about half an hour to an hour before you are going to serve it and then you can stop it whatever you would like I usually put peanut butter and whipped cream Oreos or mini Reese's Cups but you can top it any which way you would like let me know how you like it it is a great company pleaser

Better not get no JIF, in fact your chances of finding JIF peanut butter are slim to none with JIF being recalled, that’s frustrating, because, JIF is my favorite peanut butter.

Brings back memories. Also you can buy the individual little graham cracker pie crust. One of my most embarrassing moments was years ago we had a family reunion and I had forgot to get anything for dessert. I usually took a meat, vegetable a dessert. I had a couple of boxes of the instant cream cheese pie mix so I had time to make that and had can of pineapple pie filling and just spread over the top. The embarrassing part was this was this being a family reunion and seemed like every one wanted my new recipe.

I would like to start of by saying thank you for all your recipes, I tried this tonight, forgot my pie crust but made it anyway because I was so excited to try it and wow ! I didn’t have kool-Aid packets I have a jug of it so I had to adjust my measurements of Kool-Aid a little bit and taste as I went but it turned out perfect I cannot wait to go get a pie crust tomorrow and surprise my family!

One of the local grocery stores had a sale. 10/1.00.... I of course bought 2.00 worth. The cashier said boy your kids must love Kool aid. I looked at her and said what kids?! I'm the Kool aid kid 😂

I think that was like that everywhere. But, on special occasions for family get togethers and family reunions we brought pre- sweetened and everyone of us had our mom’s get black cherry, that was our number one pick. Course the cheap flavor - aide was already bagged up with different flavors.

It just came to me how about using some lemon or peach or strawberry flavored Kool-Aid in with some Lipton instant iced tea mix. I think I'm going to try that but I will use Stevia for the sweetener. Let me know if you try it and like it. God bless y'all. 🕊️😇❤️🙏

Black Cherry is my all time favorite! When I was a kid, we would take some cherry kool-aid powder and you add just a little bit to a glass of coke and have an old fashioned cherry coke! I love it! Wow, who would have thought to use Kool-aid for a pie! I am making this. As you say it's perfect to bring to a cookout or dinner and just leave it there when you are ready to go. I love this idea. And anything with sweetened condensed milk is really good.

I used to make these pies for my kids when they were little and put in coconut, pinepples (drained good) n cherries using Cherry Kool-Aid in Graham Cracker pie crusts! They are sooo delicious! The best thing with Kool-Ade is that you can regulate the amount of sugar when you mix up a batch-I always made it with 2/3 c of sugar instead of a full cup.
