Sorry but this recipe does not work when I followed it. The bread just flattened out in the oven. You have to kneed 3 times. Correct Baking temperature and time is 200*C at 40-45 minutes.

It's been awhile that I have baked bread, however I have made potato bread and rolls before. When I bake potato bread or rolls I use instant potato flakes, it's the same as fresh potatoes you just have to add just a bit more water or milk; whatever the recipe calls for. Thank you so much for posting your recipe, I love recipes specially breads, your loaf looks beautiful!
She peels 3 potatoes that a lot more than 3/4 cup. I used 3 potatoes as shown and they were aprox 1 lb total. Turns out great. Also baked at 375 for around 30 minutes.
This recipe looks awesome. I am going to have to try this! Great video! The only thing that would be better is if you said the ingredients and your measurements out loud. It would allow someone like my blind wife to be able to watch the video a little easier.

Omgosh you are so right Lola, this is the easiest bread to make and with none of the kneading or pulling out the big mixer.I like the texture. It is absolutely delicious! Husband is over the moon too. Needless to say I will be making this one over and over again. Your video was easy to follow Thank you Lola❤

Hello! Thank you a thousand times for your easy to follow instructions recipe. My loaves turned out beautifully. I did the squish move on the baked bread and YES it sprung back up quickly. This goes oh so well with my homemade strawberry/raspberry preserves. U are a gem!

Just finished baking this marvelous bread and it tastes wonderful, I have been making bread for awhile now but this recipe is the easiest I’ve ever come across! However, I followed the written instructions and found some discrepancies between the written and the video but I persevered and I am pleased with the outcome and will definitely use this recipe as my go to from now on, thank you for sharing this recipe! 😊
Forgot to include that I used the water from the potatoes because I didn’t have any milk on hand, I think the difference between using water instead of milk takes away the richness of the bread but it still tastes yummy…next time I’ll use milk and let you all know how it goes 😀

Love this recipe! Thank you for sharing. The only trouble I had is it seems a bit crumbly, not super bad but I’m wondering if I knead it a little. I also used all purpose flour. So maybe try it with bread flour next time. But all in all so yummy.
Chef Lola, HELP!!! I have made this bread twice now the flavor is amazing, I let it rise too much the first time, and it started to overflow the bowl, so I was very careful this time 45 minutes on the second rise, very careful, informing the loaves, got them into the bread pan, let them rise for about 30 minutes, had a beautiful crown on both of them, put them in a 350° oven for 30 minutes, took them out and they were both deflated. I wish I could post a picture, but I am so disappointed. I am newly retired and have always wanted to start baking my own bread. I will try it again, but I really am deflated. What do you think went wrong?
I see from the video at 2.09 min you used one cup of milk when I tried with the recipe with 1 and 3/4 cup of milk, I had to add 6 tablespoons of flour to get to a still sticky sticky dough.
When the bread turn out ok, if I refrigerated half of it for a couple days? I have just a family of two so it would be too much bread for me to make two loaves. I love potato bread thank you for the recipe!
Wonderful recipe, a beautiful loaf, great texture and delicious. I made a little change and cut the sugar in half. Also used your recipe and swapped potatoes to make sweet potato bread and taro bread.

But this is not wheat- free! The whole point is to have the taste of bread without eating wheat. I believe it must be very tasty. It is disappointing to see that it has wheat.
