Game theory time: there's a possibilty that Travis will somehow revive Gold Joe and possibly Mr.Blackhole. Now that FU is gone, both of them can live happily without any problems at all. They seem to be the only aliens that don't seem like bad guys and Travis has actual conversations with them and he seemed to be interested in them.

I know the game has been already out but I'm hoping that Suda just makes something out of this cuz when I saw the ending I was like Blown Away but what is it going to be the next step of the story because I know Suda is getting kind of tired of making sequels

Yeah, that’s exactly how I see it, he’s finally the hero he was always meant to be, fighting for something more than himself, and I see why Suda wants this to be the last game for now, his character arc is complete.

Well Jeane was his half-sister who killed the father they share cause he was a sexual abuser who neglected jeane and her mother only to leave and start a new family. Travis even felt an immense sadness having to kill her in the first game.

Maybe it's that 2028 surprise (30 year anniversary of Grasshopper BTW) that Suda51 is planning. I hope it's a big Sudaverse crossover that was mentioned in one interview.

Yeah he's shown to face Silver Eye / Third-Eye users like Kamui and Henry and Suda's other works explicitly show how people with these abilities are beyond overpowered yet Travis can threaten Kamui and can successfully fight on Par with Henry. I bet he'd somehow be able to kill Emir too.

Suda has addressed the blocked areas - they're purely for making the world look like the shattered star. As of now at least, it doesn't seem like they blocked bits are for DLC. Dreamboum on Twitter has talked about it within the last week iir

I think that's what Suda was going for. He made this ending to troll his fans just like Panty and Stocking.

In general, I agree. Between Travis and BG, you really get the feel of a kind of close friends to lovers kind of progression. However, I think that within the subtext of the plot, it's implied that Travis and Sylvia are bound by the forces of fate. I might be overromanticizing how human interactions and relationships work, but I believe that in our day and age, most people treat each other transactionally, and not relationally. For most people, it's about who the other person is (within the context of society), what they have accomplished, and what can they do for us. But the other model is a simple, yet nearly unexplainable way of enjoying another person's company because of who they are (in their soul). If we compare the relationship between Travis and Sylvia in NMH1 to Travis and BG in NMH3, it would be easy to say that the chemistry between BG and Travis points to the idea that they would be a better couple than Travis and Sylvia. However, I believe that in the 13/14 years that passed since NMH1, Travis and Sylvia have had the time to grow and to get to know each other more. My theory is that Sylvia watches all of Travis''s boss fights in their entirety, dialogue and all. How else could you explain her showing up right on time with her cleanup crew? It's through her observation of Travis from afar that she begins to genuinely admire him as a person, while on the other hand, Travis first sees Sylvia as an object of sexual conquest (NMH1), then of romantic love/protection (NMH2), and finally a long-grown familial love by the time NMH3 rolls around. In the predominating Western view of romantic relationships, most people would tell Travis to get out since Sylvia seems to never reciprocate in the relationship, but I believe that in NMH3, their relationship has progressed and grown to the point where they feel as if they are stuck together.

I was thinking the game might be a DMC 5 situation where you could play all 3 children in different timeline scenarios if they do decides to continue or do a spin off. Or could be dlc where you get to see as supporting characters rather then actual playable ones.

I think suda said he'd consider making a shinobu spinoff or something maybe 10 years in the future. But I think this ending was just them making the ending a big cliffhanger as a joke, fitting considering the first game ending with a cliffhanger that involved jeane

But also, grasshopper games as of late have kind of an MCU type thing going on with kill the past. travis strikes again being somewhat of a crossover with killer 7 with badman literally being a killer 7 character, and this game having so many connections to silver case with kamui and midori. I wouldn't be surprised if hunter jeane scott or even notorious showed up in some other suda directed game. Honestly it would be a shame to waste such good character designs (but look at how they treated some of the aliens in this game 😑)

@@Inku-Inku Badman is from a novel Suda wrote set in Killer7 called "Killer is Dead" (not the game) and his name in that story was Shigeki Birkin. He worked in the Seattle Self Defense Department with Dan and Curtis

It'll probably be a long time before we get a 4th No More Heroes game, as Suda remarked that a return for Travis in a potential sequel would likely not take place for another decade, due in part to Marvelous Entertainment's ownership of the No More Heroes IP.
