It’s astounding how much Cody has changed over the course of these Guides. He used to sound awkward and reserved, now you can hear the confidence in his voice. Probably because he is excited to shove in all the jokes, movie references and metaphors he came up for this.

I love how this series has basically become a lore episode with tons of jokes, and a little bit about the actual stuff in game. Honestly, whenever I see one of these episodes I get super excited because I get to learn more about the Warhammer world in a fun way.

I'm starting to see the Wood Elves as weaver ants with Ariel as their ant queen. Weaver ants live in tropical areas mainly in South America where they make their nests in trees. They have a symbiotic relationship with their host tree that not only allow them to make their homes on them but also provides the ants with a food source and in exchange the ants fight off any intruding insects or animals that intend on doing harm to their tree.

I love that Warhammer characters are all business and no bullshit. This is like if Galadriel was out to KILL. TBH she sounds like a reference to Catherine the great. She overthrew her husband/second cousin for being inept and soft, expanded its borders with conquest, also she made the first state financed higher education institution for women in Europe which could reference her daughters possibly. Also Athel Loren is like a reverse Russia where you don't invade it during the summer.

Big beast boy's constant reincarnation forced Ariel's hand and she thought that if she can learn his core origin- dark magic she can deal with him once and for all. Which later exploited by Morathi the mother bitch of druchii. Story goes like, Ariel's sister was one of the consort or wife of burned boy Malekith. After learning all goes shitstorm on elf island, she wished to return back and talk sense to her husband and if it's not work endure the harsh life with him. Morathi though didn't share that sentiment, she though her son would be better without her and to adding more spice, she ordered her assasins to wear high elves attire and assault her caravan before she set sail from breton lands. Assassination went well and many people saw who killed her, in her fury and half crazed state Ariel ordered a great raid to high elves land to avange her sister, while high elves are confused and actually hold dear to nature her host burned to shit out of several settlements. But Ariel was quite powerful and actually sensed some deep shit going on. Ancient Tree man who once friend with first Everqueen and even saved her son and daughter's life couldn't bear this hatred and grief how her kind queen changed. Raid ended there, but not because Ariel calmed down. She found Morathi's scheme after she broke her concealment seals. Then an attack even greater came to Morathi's land, dark elves are furiously defended but forest host was furious and mighty. Morathi even begged reinforcement from his son and her contracts but Malekith refused to take action and even denied any reinforcements of any druchii faction because he also learned his mother's scheme and actually mourned for his wife. Wood elves chained Morathi in middle of her palace and take her front of Ariel. Morathi exchanged her dark magic knowledge for her life and Ariel accepted it because of immortal beastman threat. Which led her downfall accelerated even more. Later on there was near a civil war on wood elf lands because of extremists of Ariel and actually sane wood elves. Her magic drove many forest spirit insane and in attempt to talk her snse one of the first ancient took darkness in her heart to himself. Because it was so much, he died instantly. Ariel woke up on her nightmare and sealed herself after releasing her husband. Sister's of twilight are her persona, one of them is "dawn" like once Ariel was. Calm, level headed and gentle and other one is "dusk" hot blooded, furious and merciless like Ariel's late state. But both of them are also inseparable and invincible together like she's now.

It would be pretty cool if Ariel got special animations if she kills Morghur Also, do a guide on tree daddy Durthu

I know I'm late, but it's a shame you left out how Ariel nearly tore down the Tower of Ghrond and killed Morathi during her rampage of vengeance. Malekith refused to send aid because Morathi had pulled some trick against him. The only reason Morathi wasn't killed was because she saw how corrupt Ariel was and offered to teach her more dark magic, which Ariel accepted. But still, Ariel and the wood elves traveled the World Roots into Naggaroth and overwhelmed all of Morathi's defenses, with Ariel herself being strong enough to flat-out beat Morathi into a pulp. No small feat.

That was a great video Cody! But it’s kind of disappointing that you did not mention the fact that her sister Astarille was the wife of Malekith and in his mother Morathi, Ariel had one of the worst in-laws ever! Elves generally have the worst family feuds in fantasy! 😂😂
